I wanted to like this spot, it had an old school deli vibe. 2 of the deli counter workers were cool. The taller Latina was on her headset and working in slow motion. Made us a “grilled cheese ” in the toaster oven for $9. The exhaust hood was in bad need on a cleaning, place just seemed pricey and the workers, with the exception of ( the latin guy ,w/ a goatee) behind the counter,seemed checked out. Sloppily wrapped sandwiches, lil hustle,care or personality. Place charges premium prices though

Fried chicken was amazing, legit some of the best I’ve ever had.
It was quite packed/seemed a bit disorganized when we were there, so here’s a tip: go to the back to order the fried chicken / sides. Once they hand it to you, go check out at the front. You don’t need to wait in line to pay at the deli counter.

Best fried chicken in town hands down! Great service, friendly staff(say hi to Carl) and some of the best food in town. Great for grabbing something to go and hit the beach. Also great for breakfast sandwiches too. All cooked on their new flat top griddle. Ask for a corned beef hash and egg sandwich!

Had to wait a long time for a buffalo sandwich, which had half a bottle of bluecheese. I could tell the sandwich was made with lack of care and attention to detail. Another person I was there with also asked for a roast beef with just barbecue sauce and pickles, at first he questioned if they had pickles on it they did not, then when he began to eat he had 0 barbecue sauce. I do not know if this quality has to do with how busy they were at the time or if it is a regular occurrence.

I often wake up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat, thinking about their chicken. I have driven two hours, just to sate my appetite for this chicken. There is no other fried chicken that can compare, bow down to the G.O.A.T and respect the glorious demi-Gods that made our humble lives a bit better merely from the existence of this delicacy..
