This place brings back the true original taste of Eastern Europe! The pierogies are homemade just like thin, tender dough wrapped around generous, flavorful fillings. The classic potato and cheese were perfectly creamy and comforting, topped with buttery sautéed onions that added that authentic touch.

Delicious eastern European dishes served here. We had the pierogies with meatballs & gravy, and the stuffed cabbage, pierogies, & green beans. Both were very good. The gravy was excellent! Not a fancy place, but very tasty! Friendly service as well.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant, INCREDIBLE FOOD! Seriously good pierogis (so many flavors), sauerkraut had the perfect tang, and the stuffed cabbage brought me a wave of nostalgia since it tastes just how my mom used to make it.

I have been driving past this place for years. Finally stopped last night. Delicious. Authentic. The atmosphere is not at all fancy it it reminds you of eating in Your grandma’s kitchen. Will definitely be going back often!

We ordered pierogies to go from the lovely ladies at Forgotten Taste the other day to bring home for lunch and let me just say these pierogies were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Even my 7 year old loved them and that’s saying something. (Sadly I didn’t have cash for a tip so I am sharing this review as a small way of saying thanks for an awesome meal) Definitely will be back! Try the buffalo chicken flavor – amazing!

Wanted to find the best pierogi in Pittsburgh and drove outside of downtown to find them. Do not skip this place in your pierogi journey!!! The best my Polish dad says he’s had in decades!

Tried out this restaurant and was very pleased with it. Ordered several dozen hot pierogis and several dozen frozen pierogis. The staff were very friendly and helpful as they put our order together. The hot pierogis were very delicious. Two days later we cooked the frozen pierogis. They were also very good. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We had #13 & #3 plus a side of cottage cheese pierogis. Very good. The kielbasa was very good, and I liked the sweetness of the cottage cheese pierogis. The halushki was just like my wife and my mother made. We couldn’t finish it all, so we brought the gawompki home for tomorrow. Order and pay at the counter, then the food will be brought to you. We will go back.

Love me some Pierogies. They are a solid lunch spot, got some with kielbasa. Love their options and would recommend stopping in. Pittsburgh is know for some good pierogies and these do not disappoint. They got seating in side and plenty of parking for a quick pickup order. I also like how friendly the staff is. Will be stopping again soon!

Okay, the food here is amazing. Soft perogies, satisfying bowtie haluski, hearty kielbasa, sweet sauce on the stuffed cabbage and delicious sour kraut (and I’ve never been a fan)
Tou can take out or dine in. Very small restaurant so few seating options and they will serve your meal in to go boxes and they have only disposable cutlery. No fountain drinks, just bottles in a cooler. Can’t wait to try more perogies flavors!!!
