The Mother’s Day brunch was ran very poorly. You were given one hour to eat buffet style, yet seated a half hour into your hour. Food was amazing though.

Looking at the previous reviews I was a little concerned but the meal, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Was able to grab a table right away and did not take long for Natasa to take our drink order. Lots of beer on tap to choose from plus many other drink options . I had the halibut and fries which were excellent and my wife really enjoyed her salmon. Not sure what they put in the cole slaw but I want the recipe . If you want a great restaurant to end your stay in Alaska this is it. If you want a cool place to hang out in Alaska and watch the floatplanes, this is also it.

I had the halibut and chips along with the Denali Brewing red. The food and drink was great and I loved watching the seaplanes coming and going. Definitely a unique, must do experience.

The deck is one of the most gorgeous places to eat in Anchorage. Amazing food with beautiful views of the floatplanes landing and taking off. The staff is wonderful and helpful also!

Great spot to watch the seaplanes from an outdoor patio. I experienced a really long wait time, short staffed for the amount of seating, and average food that seemed overpriced.

Where even to begin? It was seat yourself, so we did. We looked at the menus on the table and had made our choices. When a server finally came over to get a drink order, he said we had the wrong menu—the deck was a limited menu not the same as inside. So he took our drink order and we looked over the new menus. Made our choices. He came back with drinks. We ordered. Over 20 minutes later he came back and said they were out of what 3 of 4 of us had asked for. He had to go find menus. Brought back them back and we quickly reordered. About two minutes later, a different person brought out the 4th person’s food and what the original server thought we might have wanted as a substitute (it wasn’t). They took EVERYTHING back. Another ten minutes passes and they bring 2 meals. We wait five minutes, grad a different person and ask for the other meals. Finally everyone has food.

The bisque was cold and had a film like old pudding on the top. The two taco dishes were completely different levels of spicy.

Took forever to get the check. Once it came, they misplaced a credit card. Luckily found it so no harm, no foul.

We will not be returning for many reasons

The food and atmosphere were amazing. We had appetizers and drinks, and we enjoyed them a lot. The service was non-existent for a while, and we ended up getting our own refills on water. Watching the planes was a lot of fun.

Good food and excellent wait staff and service. We appreciated that they were open on 4th of July and grateful for those that worked on that day.

We ordered a mojito and a virgin mojito, but both drinks contained dead, moldy mint leaves. The pesto penne pasta was overly oozy oily at the bottom and tasted mediocre. It was extremely hot outside, and the restaurant lacked umbrellas for the tables. Next to our table was a slop bucket filled with fruit slices, which attracted numerous mosquitoes. When we went to check out, two other tables moved inside and jumped ahead of us in line. The view of the lake was beautiful. If I were to return, I would only order a beer and bring my own umbrella for the table.

While it is a very beautiful place to eat, the staff was slow to respond in every way. They have many dishes on the menu. I ordered the hot and sour halibut which was so deep in sauce it was all you could taste. For the price of each plate, up in the mid $20s, one would think that real silverware would come with the food. They serve these dishes with flimsy plastic ware. If you want very good food, go elsewhere. We were dissatisfied!
