Me and my best friend came here during my work trip to VA and everything was perfect! OLIVIA IS THE BEST!!! She was so nice and supportive in going over the menu. Out of all the apps we tried the poppers are the best!! All of their apps are GREAT!

Well the wife picked here to go for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was really nice pretty laid back, which is what we like. Went downhill from there. I will start with the drinks. We ordered the Debbie’s Strawberry lemonade. $12.50 for basically a Strawberry Lemonade because the alcohol was VERY absent. I ordered a MEDIUM Ribeye, $34.00 for the meal plus sides. They were asparagus and steamed broccoli. Well the steak was well done, and my broccoli was truly fresh because it was not anywhere near cooked, it crunched when bit. Now the meal looked really good but wasn’t.
As for service well the waitress had something going on and I’m not going to speculate as to what but needless to say her tip reflected her service.
We choose this restaurant over other similar restaurants for our anniversary dinner and was very disappointed.

My husband and I tried this restaurant this weekend. The food was pretty good came out in a timely fashion. We had the fried pickles & chicken pesto pizza (very fresh) for starters. For dinner we chose crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, and the ribeye with asparagus & potatoes (potatoes very bland). The atmosphere was pretty nice. We did make a reservation for 8 PM and we were seated promptly our waitress on the other hand. She seem to be pretty busy on the side talking about low tips from other tables smoking her vape just kind of not interested in doing anything but expecting a huge tip From all of her tables. Unfortunately, I have been in the service industry for over 15 years I’m also a very kind and optimistic human so I give people the benefit of the doubt and just hope for the best however, her service never got better. I hated to do it but for my hour and a half experience I left this server a $20 tip and that was because I’m a server and I understand taking someone’s table however she deserved far less She was kind, but she was not attentive , Did not clear plates another young lady came by she was working a party and still had time to assist without us asking. I give this restaurant four stars. I honestly took one star for our server (pictured&blurred purposely)

All in all is was alright! We likely
Wouldn’t return because we just weren’t wowed but certainly not bad. Our waitress was great and very sweet! The water was actually undrinkable. It tasted like whatever nozzle they got it from hasn’t been washed, like mildewy almost. $72 for 4 people ain’t bad though! My burger was fine. My husband’s meal was alright too. Not bad, just didn’t impress either.

Food about 3 out of 5. We have been here twice. Both times the mixed drinks were just ok. Last time my tacos were really cold. I know the tuna is seared and not cooked fully but it’s supposed to be warm not cold. I got a Bloody Mary as that was the special. It didn’t taste like a fresh mix. Spicy yes , a celery and a pickle but not as fresh as I’d had in the past. I’d asked for a salt rim. The waitress just said we don’t do that and walked away. Instead of asking how can she make it better. It was not that busy.

My partner had the prime rib with asparagus. Only 8 tiny pieces of asparagus. He thought it was ok, not a wow.

The first time the service was not that great, but we went and tried it again. Oh well, again service was not too great, not going back. I was in service for 12 years. A server needs to ask, “How can I make this right?”

Time 13:00 not crowded,

This is a nice place. The chairs are not cushioned. They have bar seats, high top tables, regular tables, and booths. Variety selection on menu. Came in for Wednesday special $7.99 burgers, but there are only 4 to pick from.
I ordered the Cast burger, and it was one of the best I’ve had.
Picture of burger and menu will be added. First 4 burgers are only ones avaliable for Wednesday special.
Cast, Mushroom, Buffalo, and Tuna burgers are $7.99 on Wednesdays.

I go when they have live music and “Annalyse Marie ” is by far my absolute favorite to go enjoy her singing and eat the best “Shrimp and Grits” in town!

We had reservations for 5:30 and showed up st 5:10. They sat us with menus and nothing else. We waited until 5:40 for someone to ask us for a drink etc. We gave our orders and asked for an appetizer, and that we would also place an order for take away. We asked for that to not be made until we were about to leave and for the appetizer to come our before the main meal. All three came out at the same time. Now we had to eat our appetizers quickly, our meal quickly just so that our kids food wasn’t cold when we returned home. The beer was flat and the “herb crusted chicken” had no crust, no flavor, no seasoning on the rice, chicken or the broccoli. It was wild honestly. It was like a steamed bag of food. The appetizer was good….that was it.

Do not waste your money on the crab cakes. Huge disappointment and outrageously overpriced!! They were barely bigger than a baby red potato (see picture) and tasted like chef Long John Silver barely gave it his some!

On February 16th, 2026 I took a contract to deliver an order for Cast Plates and Pints. Arrived five minutes before the order was due. I spoke to the owner when the order was 13 minutes late—which means I had been there for 18 minutes—and he immediately became combative, arguing and making threats, and ultimately he refused to hand over the order.

I have completed over two thousand deliveries across four states, and I have never met a store that was so hostile to its contractors. I felt unsafe and I have reported this incident to my company’s HR. I will not be coming back.

Since there’s no way to reply to the owners, response directly, I will offer a reply here.

Thank you for reaching out. I do indeed recall our conversation. When I pointed out that the order I was waiting on was 13 minutes late, that was when your hostility began to manifest. So I have a simple question for you, as we shared a mutual customer:

You say I was rude to point out that an order was 13 minutes late (referring to Doordash’s on-time metrics here, not the amount of time I personally had been there). Does that not imply that an order being that late is, also, rude? Neither of us would have had any issues with each other if the order had simply been on time. It’s not just bad etiquette to your driver, but also to the customer, and, since I had two orders, it was also causing the next order to be late.

I do admit one mistake on my own part: after ten minutes overdue, DoorDash allows its own drivers to unassign an order without punishment to our own statistics. I accept, in hindsight, that was arguably the best approach. If I had known the store simply didn’t care whether an order was on time or not, I would have not been there in the first place. I have a 10% acceptance rate on orders, but a 100% completion rate and 100% on-time rate. I take pride in doing my job, but I cannot do that if a restaurant is unable or unwilling to uphold its end of the transaction.

Random sidenote, for what it’s worth, DoorDash misled you on one detail. It was not you who banned me from the store. I banned your restaurant from giving me future orders. I took care of that about five minutes after we finished talking.

But anyway, best of luck to you, and especially your staff, since I doubt you’re easy to work with.

—Max
