I do compliment both pasta being al dente, when many establishments overcook the pasta.
The garlic bread was upsetting as parts of it was crunchy, and other parts seemed stale. Butter on one side, burnt garlic on the other side. My husband ate all his bread but i couldn’t.
Neither of us finished the pasta and we threw away the leftovers.
Ill just try the pizza next time i guess.
Instead of helping, the staff became argumentative when I asked for my money back. Between the false advertising and the unprofessional customer service, this was a complete waste of time and money. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting an honest menu or respectful service.
The service was immaculate as the cashier would regular check up on us and ask us if we need anything. Of course all was good in the food department we were one slice away each me and my friend from finishing it. We thought about leaving the restaurant and finishing it later and we both looked at each other and agreed no this pizza has to go cuz it’s simply too good.
This place is a stable to me and will be one of the places I go to every time I visit back to this area. Even so to my dear reader I need to convey on how I feel about this place so to put it simply had I been on death row and offered one last meal I would have asked for Old Chicago’s barbecue style pizza.
Thank you for the read and please do yourself a favor and head to this pizza shop.
I can’t speak to how this place is as a pizzeria, but the food I got was awesome. The UFO burger was juicy and the right amount of messy, when too often the burgers in these are very overcooked. The gyro was outstanding and one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The meat clearly was freshly carved and piled on so generously that half of it had to be eaten with a fork because it was too overstuffed to eat as a sandwich.
I ended up spending quite a while hanging out and talking to the owner as well, who was an incredibly friendly and approachable individual who tended personally to every guest who came in.
The portions were huge and the prices were very fair (less than $20 for the burger, gyro and fries). I would repeat often if I was a local. I’ll definitely return if I’m back in the area.
