This family-owned Cafe has provided consistently delicious meals for decades. As a shirttail relative to the owners, my mom, sister, and I popped in here for breakfast in November. In my opinion, breakfast is a tricky meal because people are picky about their eggs and bacon. Preferring over medium well eggs sometimes leads me to get too runny, slimy, or so overcooked as to be inedible. Inedible. JC’s cook has got egg preparation down to a science. The yolk was not overcooked, the white was completely cooked and they were simply delicious! My bacon was crisp but not burnt and quite flavorful. I decided to have oatmeal instead of pancakes or toast and it’s some of the best I ever had. Served with milk, brown sugar and raisins it tasted genuinely homemade!

Everything was very clean and well maintained and the staff was quite friendly and kind. One of the cool things about this place is the walls are covered with the names and dates of locals and travelers who have shared a meal here. It was very interesting to walk around and see all the names with the dates of past visitors.

An amazing place. Family owned One of those places that reminds you what the working American family represents. 2+2+2 is the best you could ask for. The pancakes are delicious. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is preferable to those chain cafes that only fatten the wallets of corporate America. Go to these cafes; that’s what this country needs.

We stopped on the way to Estes Park from the Denver Airport. The food was excellent with timely service. When the servicer found out it was Matha’s birthday, she comped her entire meal. We thanked them, adding that my birthday was in two days. My meal was comped also. With a bill of zero, we thanked them and tipped the waitress generously. Great food.. great people.

Ooooohh my !!! My son brought me here for breakfast !!! This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My Denver omelette was filled with fresh vegetables. Hash browns w/ gravy delicious. French toast delicious. My son had chicken fried steak and eggs. Both great. Green chili is wonderful.

Alright, we came here due to the great reviews. I was a little nervous when we got here, it’s in a more industrial area and is very unassuming. Step inside and it’s small, fairly tight quarters. Nothing fancy here, very eclectic style and staff- no snooty people here! Ages ranged from little kids to seniors. Coffee was decent (basic pot coffee, don’t look for lattes here) and refills were timely.
Let’s talk about the food! I had the mountain man omelette with a pancake and hubby had the half sized mass confusion. SO GOOD! I’m stuffed! This is what a diner should be! I only wish they were closer to my home!
