The Waffle House is always a good cheap breakfast. This particular location I have frequent every time I come home to Columbia, SC. The server my daughter & I both had was awesome. Very attentive. The only issue was my bacon was a bit over cooked. It was still good, so I ate it with no complaints even though the server offered me the opportunity to have it remade. The place was pretty clean that morning as well. The All-Star breakfast will be my go-to 99% of the time, with 2-extra eggs.

The waitress and cook were really nice, but the table was dirty especially the seams were the table was against the wall. The food came out quickly. The waffle with chocolate chips was thin, but tasted OK.

When we entered the Grill cook *AND* the waiter(GABE) saw us. We sat down and waited patiently over 20 minutes while they finished up serving a present customer and then the waiter started getting another couple’s order that walked in a few minutes after us. After glancing my way several times…the Grill Cook(I finally got him to take our order.) What a joke! Nobody will just….Do Their Job anymore!!!(I can’t make this up)

Arrived walking in around 315am. Multiple individuals leaving. Get inside walk to the front to sit at the high top. “We aren’t taking orders” is what im told. No closed sign, doors open and unlocked. The 24hrs is clearly a lie. Avoid this one. They are just plain lazy.

The waitress was really sweet. We ordered an omelette that was on the old menu. When they made it, she didn’t like what it looked like and had the cook re-make it. My husband said it was really good.
Food came out quick and was delicious. My eggs and hash browns were not greasy. Daughters food was also really good! The coffee was 10 out of 10 and the waffle was also yummy. Best WH I have ever ate at!

Best Wafflehouse experience ever. I’m low carb and gluten free and ended up at Wafflehouse. With some help from Vickie, my server, I decided on a loaded 4 egg omelet and it was the Shitttt. John our grill master made an heaping delectable culinary delight. Absolutely amazing!!!! Awesome service!!!! Great work y’all!!!

For starters the AC is strong in this place. The staff is kind and focused. They didn’t really want side conversations but they made sure I had what I needed. Food came out almost perfect, but pretty sure if I’d been paying more attention I wouldn’t have made that mistake. Definitely restored my trust in the brand after a visit to a different location last week.

Clean quiet attentive. I ordered the All Star Breakfast with a pecan waffle, eggs over medium crispy hashbrowns with onions. Hit coffee cans quick and the meal wasn’t too fast behind. Hot fast as good as it gets at a Waffle House. The one negative, I ordered a pecan waffle. I got a plain waffle, I didn’t complain because it was hit and fresh and waffles take forever, it was hot and fresh. The lady had earplugs in connected to her phone. I wasn’t charged for the pecans.

The grit bowl is warm and homey. Feels like something your grandma would make for you as a kid. Waffle House is like that one Uncle that picks you up when you’re too drunk to drive and doesn’t tell your Mom. You can count on them being short staffed or someone arguing with the cook, drunk customers or just being packed with regulars depending on the time of day you go. The waffles smell amazing and the hash browns are great bar food loaded with cheese and whatever toppings you want. The food isn’t fancy but it’s good!
