Food was fine. Server was distracted hardly saw her & barely call it service. There weren’t very many people in the place due to snow so I was surprised that the service was less than good. We waited for everything … And then the dish wasn’t what was ordered. Not wanting to wait even longer we just ate what we liked on plate and called it a day. We were visiting & not from the area but this left an awful impression on all of us. So our people who live there now have the “now we know why we go to the other place” feeling. That place was closed. But I get the feeling the poor service & unapologetic manner didn’t win this place any repeat customers that night.

Went here for a dinner meeting for Reagan Athletic Booster Club. The place is really nice and staff is great. The menu has a lot to offer but a picture of my dish stood out to me because it looked delicious. I was not disappointed, it was exactly like the picture and more. The dish is composed of two grilled chicken cutlets topped with a creamy spinach and bacon mixture that brings the entire dish together. It comes with rice wish could be a dish in itself with the creamy spinach. I look forward to eating here again and trying more dishes even though I’m hooked on this dish now!

Great staff and amazing drinks! This is only place in Winston-Salam that makes Paloma’s the authentic way! I pass about 5 Mexican restaurants to get my favorite drink! Worth the drive. During my last visit I tried the chille relleno and it has great flavor. The beans and rice are perfect! I wish the salsa on the rellenos was a bit more spicy but I’m a spicy fan! I’ll definitely order this vegetarian friendly dish again. Clean, great music, has tvs and a lot of parking. I appreciate that they truly have a full bar and the staff are great at making alcoholic drinks! You can tell they take pride in the service and make everyone feel comfortable while dining.

Well, I hadn’t heard about this place, it was recommended to me by family Last week. Boy, do I wish that I had discovered this myself. I love Mi Pueblo, but there’s options, are like most restaurants, and is my usual go to. But after opening the Menu at this restaurant, you will ask yourself, “boy do I have days in the year to try all this?” The service was great, nothing crazy. Our waiter brought us our food, than we saw absolutely none of her until our check, which I don’t mind. We were close to the kitchen, so if I needed anything I could have asked. But after taking one bite, I knew this was going to be the new spot! I ended up grabbing the QuesaBirria. Basically a Quesadilla & Birria Beef, served with rice & Broth to dip in. The broth was amazing, and complimented the queso so well. The rice was warm, flavorful, but a tad dry. The Beef was amazing! Juicy, just enough flavor to enjoy, and not overpower the cheese, and cooked to perfection! Definitely a Go to now! Next time I’ll get the Carnitas as that is my next Favourite. The drink menu was amazing as well, but did not get any drinks this visit. Definitely will give there Margaritas a try next time! 9.9/10 Must try if you live in the area, or are willing to travel a bit! Never been sad in a Mexican Restaurant (and never will! ), and that definitely made top 10!

Loved the Paloma!! I also ordered guacamole de la casa, queso and Tres Mexicana. All were either very good or delicious. Vegetarian friendly and gluten-free friendly. Friendly service, too.

Wow! My new favorite restaurant. Visited with my family, ordered the cheesesteak dish, carne Asada and a burrito. Everything was perfectly done. They have a wonderful ambience, friendly staff and flavorful food. The salsa that comes with the free basket of chips upon arrival has just the right balance of flavor to spice. Recently returned from a trip to SoCal and their food easily outshines numerous of the Mexican restaurants there. La Carreta is a must for anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine.
