The food was fast and freshly cooked. The retro/classic vibe of the lobby is super comfortable, cute, and welcoming. Any body that wants to sit in a fast food restaurant with traditional character, this is a great stop on your way to ocean shores or kurt Cobain’s house.

We were on the road, in a bit of a rush, and decided to go through a drive-thru. The options were Taco Bell, McDonald’s, KFC, Wendy’s, and Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen won out.
The drive-thru ordering process was a little rough—the worker had trouble hearing me, and I had to repeat myself several times. Not sure if it was the speaker, his headset, or just him. That said, he was pleasant and got the order correct, which I appreciated.
I ordered a triple burger with onion rings and a Dr Pepper. My companion got a single burger and onion rings. The total was over $25, which felt a bit pricey for fast food, but that seems to be the norm these days.
I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had a soda in such a long time, or the recipe here is a better combination, but soda was very tasty. If we hadn’t been driving through I probably would have gotten another one. burger had way too much ketchup—so much that I couldn’t taste much else. It was very sweet, overwhelming everything else on the burger. Supposedly it had mustard too, but I couldn’t detect it at all. There were two pickles on it, the bun was a bit hard, and the onion rings were overcooked.
Sam’s burger (my companion’s) was fine. Her onion rings were excellent while hot, and when I finished what she didn’t eat, they were cooked much better than mine.
Overall, it was a filling meal, convenient for travelers, and probably the better choice out of the fast-food options available in that area.

This particular DQ is better than many others I’ve been to. It’s clean and the chicken strips are really good. The $7 meal deals are great! Also appreciate that they do accept the DQ coupons that are sent in the mail.

I came by with my family twice on October 22 we were clam digging we got lunch and then dinner. Lunchtime food was fine but service was slow and customer service was poor the younger gentleman with blonde hair was very kind. The lady that had Brunette with excessive blonde highlights was snobby and and made it seem like we were wasting her time. Dinner time came around we showed up at 9:40 it took until after closing ( also turned the light off inside lobby while waiting for our food) to receive the rest of our food let alone the fries were stale and cold and the chili dog was extremely hot to the point to where it burnt my mouth ( also very over cooked). Customer service was terrible from the same lady with brunette and highlights. She also did not want to give us the bathroom code which is highly unacceptable. In my experience you should not turn lights off inside lobby while a customer is still waiting 20 plus minutes for their food. Also coming from some who works in fast food you do not treat your customers this way. We come by all the time for a 4 hour round trip to enjoy family time. We have never ran into this crew. The younger gentleman was highly kind I do appreciate him. You guys need to work as a team.

Really frustrated that I ordered extra strawberries, which I was charged extra for, and ended up with two strawberries. It was a large royal cheesecake blizzard so the ratio of strawberries was way off, so it wasn’t super enjoyable. This is not the first time the ratio was off, which is exactly why I ordered extra strawberries.

Ordered 6 piece honey bbq chicken strips. Price on board said 11.49 got charged way more and manager refused to fix. I’m going to contest with my credit card company now. Called corporate office for help, hot voicemail and no reply. Avoid this scam of a store. See pictures for proof

Did a door dash from here and they completely messed up the order when the food Got here which wasn’t very long after being made the fries were cold the burger was cold they messed up the blizzards I didn’t even eat the food I just threw it away there goes 25$ worth of food never again from here I won’t even go in to eat from here now because it’s they’re second time in a row messing up.

Nice server, filthy place. The floors were disgusting throughout. The kitchen floor was unbelievably dirty. They opened at 10am and we arrived at 10:30ish. The tables and benches had not been cleaned from the previous day.

We’ve come here a few times now and never had a bad experience, don’t know what all the negative reviews are for? As this is a relatively busy location the only downside is an occasional wait. But the employees do a wonderful job taking care of a long line quickly and getting orders correct. Food was served hot and fresh, ice cream was delicious & chilly, and they also offered the perfect amount of toppings! Loved the animal cookie blizzard…they made it amazingly. Same with the chicken and biscuits basket, it was really good and offers something different than a regular chicken strip meal. The gravy and biscuits are definitely worth coming back for. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger from here and my Grandpa also enjoyed his chicken and biscuits. We think this Dairy Queen represents the brand well and you should give it a try.
