Some of the best food we have ever had. The fish tacos and seafood basket were wonderful, but the steak tips were absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Don’t think twice- just start driving here!

We had to wait 10 minutes for a table even though checks were given to 4 tables but the people were talking
The waitress came right over after being seated to take drink orders and asked if we were ready. We ordered fish chower which was excellent and the special squash soup. For lunch, the fish and chips was almost as good as Ireland and by far the best in southern Connecticut. The fish tacos used grilled Mahi Mahi and was perfectly cooked. A special blackened swordfish salad was enough for two. Service was pleasant and prices were reasonable

Absolutely adorable atmosphere filled with delicious food and friendly staff. Parking was limited but was able to find some off a nearby side street.

Our server was incredibly attentive and kind. The environment felt inviting and warm, just as a local spot in a small town would.

The Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich was delectable! Well cooked and the sweet potato fries on the side were perfect!!

Overall, highly recommend going out of your way to go to the Little Goose Cafe…it’s an amazing lunch or dinner to have before heading to Bridgeport!

I’m excited about this review. Let’s Do It. This place, hands down, has the best waitstaff customer service anyone can ask for. The Little Goose is doing Big Goose things. Don’t look to the left or right when you’re riding by and just read the name, park the car, and go inside.I promise you won’t regret it. Our waitress Heidi was amazing. The bartender understands the assignment, and the drinks are lit. The Chef baby everything cooked to PERFECTION. The fried artichokes…pure genius crazy on the palate The calamari melts in your mouth. They had a live singer…People this place is right in our backyard. Why didn’t I go sooner? This restaurant is a gem. It nice small and cozy looking on the outside, but big things are going on in the inside. I demand you to go check it out.

I wanted to love this restaurant but unfortunately I did not. Atmosphere is great. Ordered a bloody mary extra spicy and got a drink that was mostly horseradish. If you look at the photo all the white is pure horseradish. There was absolutely no balance in the cocktail. Both brunch dishes were cold when served. The waffle on the sausage eggs benedict was hard and lacked flavor. The poached eggs were very close to overcooked . Potatoes needed salt. Everything but the goose may have been better if it were not cold. On a good note salad was delicious. Very disappointing service as well. Bartender spent most of her time chatting to people at the other end of the bar. When they came to clear our meal, mine was mostly uneaten and I wasn’t asked if there was a problem or if I wanted to take the rest home.

Incredibly disappointed with the treatment we received at this establishment. I made a reservation over a week ago, and upon arrival we were told they were behind schedule and it would be a few minute’s but they know we have a reservation. We arrived 5 minutes early, so no big deal. After about 15 minutes of waiting with no word on how long we’d be waiting, all the host could do is tell us she cant read minds and has no clue how long the wait will be and to let her know if we are staying or leaving. Overall bad experience at the hands of the hostess, and she put a damper on my birthday celebration.

Adorable little place low on seating capacity but high on service. We had a very generous sized chicken salad and a buffalo chicken appetizer. Both were delicious and our drinks we’re very good too. The red sangria was awesome and the French martini was on point. They have a great variety in menu selections and I look forward to going back again.

We stopped in while on a long road trip because the location was so convenient off of I95 and we didn’t want the usual rest stop food. We were SO impressed with the quality of the food, seasonal cocktails, and indoor-outdoor vibe of the seating area! Service was also fast and attentive. We’re hoping to make this our go-to half way point stop on future trips. Thank you!!
