Great service. The food was incredible! I had the Farmers omelet and it was so tasty! The homemade bread was a nice addition. I had leftovers. We also got the strawberry pancake with whipped cream. It was probably one of the best flavored pancakes I’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend!

Good breakfast spot. I came in here after an interesting night of camping quite a few miles down the road. This place definitely satisfied my hunger.
It has a very homey feel to it. You can tell that a lot of locals regularly eat here.
The atmosphere did not disappoint either with deer heads mounted on the wall as well as cool yooper memorabilia. The place was also very clean.
As for food, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, a side of corn beef hash, toast, and a side of ranch. It was all very good. While I was ordering, the waitress curiously asked me what the ranch was for. I told her it was for the hash and we both laughed. Good times for sure.
Overall, this place is worth the visit if you are in the area looking for a good breakfast.

Classic hometown diner, with regulars and a long serving staff. We had a terrific server who was as pleasant as can be. Tried the limpu bread. Good stuff. My ribeye was not the best cut of meat. Everything else was great.

Husband and I stopped in while vacationing in UP. We looked up reviews and it seemed like a good place to eat….The server immediately took our orders. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The place had maybe 10 customers. I ordered Breaded Shrimp with french fries, a side salad, green beans, and a roll. Hubby ordered a burger with fries. My shrimp was good, the side salad (lettuce and tomato) was terrible. Lettuce was bitter and tomato tasted strange. Green beans tasted like a tin can. And mine, as well as my husband’s, fries were soggy. His burger was mediocre at best and the burned bacon on it didn’t help! We were VERY disappointed given the prices! Hoping this isn’t accurate for others!

I am here right now, haven’t even gotten the food yet but I know it’s going to go hard. Coffee is light-years beyond the standard diner coffee. Service is 11/10 and unbelievably friendly. There is taxidermy and a hot rod calendar on the walls. This is the diner of my dreams. I cannot wait to come back. I love you Buck’s Restaurant

It seemed like a fairly good place to begin with, nice and homey, however the place was packed and serviced was slow. The hashbrowns tasted freezerburnt, and the sandwich was bread with a little bit of meat. Waiters were complaining about people they knew to each other loudly in the room. Other than that, it was decent.
