The photos you see here ARE NOT from the Elkin location….they are from the Subway located in Walmart in Wilkesboro….Elkin location needs training on cleanliness and food safety. I went to order at Elkin location lettuce was browning and bell peppers looked slimmy. As the owner was leaving i stopped her and told her she might want to take a look at veggies as they were brown and slimmy….she just thanked me and continued to leave. Didnt even walk over and look. Two minutes later her husband came back so i thought ….he’s gonna look into it. WRONG, he went to back came out with some meat and left…didnt even look at the veggie case….no concern for public safety in my opinion…

We ordered 2 FOOTLONGS and a kids meal on the app, after we picked up the order and got home, we realized it’s only a half. We called and the owner guy said “no you ordered a wrap, even your receipt says a wrap” and wouldn’t make it right, like we had ordered.

The girl who was working all alone was doing everything she could to run this busy shop & take care of everything on her own. However, people were getting upset because stock was low and the wait was too long. She maintained professional & worked nonstop but she shouldn’t have to do all that on her own & have to explain & apologize for the delay & product shortages to all the unhappy customers. She deserves a raise to put up with all that & management should be there helping or hire more help. Sad to see Subway overworking & underpaying another employee who is doing everything on their own. Sad to treat staff like that. The food that was available was good, fresh & well prepared.

Be super careful ordering here, the owners will overcharge you. I ordered here with my friend a couple weeks ago and it was 18.18 for the total for two subs, I ordered here today, the same sub, with a coupon and my order came out to 17.11 for one just sub, I got the receipt and they charged me for almost every single meat they put on the sub.

The ladies behind the counter were sluggish and in no hurry to help the line move along. We must have been there over 30 mins. When all I wanted was a quick dinner. I left my daughters in there to pay so I could take the groceries to the car , and they said the woman was rude and harsh toward them. In grabbing the money and asking if they needed a bag. It was 8 sandwiches… Do we need a bag? No we are going to carry them individually! She shoved all of them into one bag. The meatballs were cold and she.actually said I could not have onion because she did not want to cut them for me. Not to impressed

Girl working in there was very rude! I walked up to counter and she gruffly told me it will be a while I have 5 subs to make. She acted like she hates her job. So over people who don’t want to do their job. I walked out and went to Chick-fil-A where I was treated with kindness. Lessons in manners are needed at Subway!
