The biggest downside is the dinner doesn’t run smooth after the meal is done. The reservation should have you pay up front so upon completion you don’t have to wait and settle up checks with everyone else.
With the quality and quantity of food and drink, plus guest speakers throughout the meal, I would highly recommend this dinner to everyone.
My kids had the grilled fish meal with mashed potatoes. $10 for a kids grilled fish meal is pretty pricey.
I did not like the grits. It was my fault. I didn’t realize they were rice grits vs corn grits. I was not a fan of the fluffy texture.
My husband loved his old fashioned. My margarita was okay.
Total bill was $165 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We went at night and it was too cold to sit outside for us however they do have lots of outdoor heaters and plastic that blocks the wind if you want to sit outside.
Our server was very nice and attentive. Zero issues with her.
Dinner was amazing. The server, Anthony, was an awesome young man. Super knowledgeable of the menu. He was attentive, friendly, and made the experience awesome. Top notch service.
The food. Next level. The oyster sampler was epic. I got the Seared Red Snapper with rustic smoked gouda mashed potatoes, baby green beans, white wine-lemon butter. She had the Girl Next Door jumbo Gulf shrimp, C & D Mill stone-ground brie rice grits, roasted local corn, house-smoked tasso, lemon leek cream. Both dishes were out of this world.
The dessert was a Valentine’s trio. Those “oysters” were white chocolate. A perfect end to an amazing meal.
If you’re ever in Pensacola, stop by the Oyster House. You’ll have a meal that makes a memory. Five stars all the way.
Brannon took care of us from the moment we sat down, and his hospitality is the reason people like us keep coming back. The oysters were insanely fresh and perfectly prepared — but the way Brannon walked us through the menu, checked on us, and made the whole night feel effortless is what truly made the experience five-star.
Atlas is lucky to have someone like him on the team. Service like this brings people back over and over, and his boss definitely needs to give him the raise he deserves. We’ll be recommending Atlas — and Brannon — to everyone we know.
