The food was ok, but the service was terrible. I could not tell what her problem was, but the woman had an attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing her by ordering food. She talked down to my eleven year old as if she were stupid, because she asked how large the chicken strips are. Very disappointed in this establishment. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll go somewhere else.

So went through the drive through and made a specific request for the toast to be in my 3pc chicken basket with gravy. I was told I had to order the 4pc, obliged and instead ordered the 4pc. Got the food parked and thought nothing of anything cause I could tell the food was hot and fresh. Opened my box and the toast looked normal on top. When I pulled it out it was burnt on the other side. I would’ve waited patiently for un-burnt toast all they needed to do was tell me they burnt it and are making fresh. Don’t give people burnt food especially when they are making specific request for a certain side to accompany their order. Sheesh I didn’t ask for it to be fixed cause I feel like it’s common sense not to give customers burnt food. The staff seemed friendly enough they probably would’ve fixed it no problem but I just worked 60 hours driving a truck and I’m too tired to ask people to do their jobs correctly.

Sloppy and unprofessional. Ice cream is always half melted when they give it to you. Ice cream all over spoon and cup and never offer napkins.
*I decided to give you one more chance. I placed my order in the drive thru, pulled around and waited. There were 3 employees working that I could see. The first girl was playing on her phone and then went into the back. The second also went to the back. The third employee went outside with his vape and phone. I continued to wait…. sat there for several minutes until finally the gentleman came back in carrying his vape and phone. Went straight to make my order without washing his hands. That’s where I draw the line. I will definitely not be back. I have worked in food service and unsafe and unclean practices like these are unacceptable. Never once have I ever been offered a napkin at this location and their windows are filthy. In the six months since my first visit there I don’t think their drive thru window has ever been cleaned. Just nasty. You should be ashamed.

Dirty! From top to bottom, this place is dirty. The seating area and behind the counter, both. Very unappetizing. No one was bothering to straighten up and they were NOT busy. The workers move around like they have all day. They gave my husband a horrid dipped cone that had hardly any ice cream. The dipping chocolate wasn’t being kept warm or something, as it barely covered the ice cream (see picture). The manager and staff need to be fired and they need to clean that place and start over! The workers handled everything, EVERYTHING, bare-handed and I doubt they were keeping those hands clean.

One of the best Dairy Queens, food wise. Great cheeseburgers!!! Service leaves a little to be desired. Many times, this location is busy, especially in the warmer months. If they’re busy, you’ll be waiting a long time for your order. Being right off the Interstate, and being below the entrance to Claytor Lake State Park, brings a lot of traffic.

Went through the drive through. Waited 10 minutes before anyone even took my order. Took another 10 minutes to get to the window. Got to the window and had to give them my order again. They then started making my order. Also, when they finally handed me my ice cream it was melted and drilling all over. (This is the one they are supposed to be able to turn upside down or you get it free.) I had to ask for napkins and they swiped my card without ever telling me my total. Once I got to eat my royal strawberry cheesecake, there was no strawberries, at all. This trip through the drive through took over 30 minutes and was not even worth my money. I will not be returning to the Dairy Queen.

I waited from 6:03 to 6:37 before I had my order taken. Sitting at the drive thru box the entire time with staff occasionally coming over the mic to tell me “one moment please.” After finally ordering I didn’t get the right food and it was possibly the worst fast food I’ve ever eaten. Abysmal serving sizes despite such a high price point. Out of 4 chicken tenders, 2 weren’t much bigger than a regular chicken nugget. Gave my ice cream with it melting down the side and the coke I ordered was out of syrup so it tasted downright foul. I wasn’t even given a receipt to formally complain. I will never eat at this location again and I cannot believe I wasted 30 dollars and almost an hour of my time here. Do not waste your money or time like I did here.

Burger was good, fries were cold, took 20 minutes to get through the drive through. The girl was friendly but the guy passed 2 icecreams and all my food through the window without looking at me. I didn’t come to hear have a good night from them but it is something you notice when you sit in your car waiting for 20 minutes.
