This is one of Grand Rapids’ hidden gems. This is a quaint establishment, so don’t plan to go here with a large group of people, but it is exceptional as a date night or small family dinner. The food here is unmatched. Plan for a relaxed pace of dining as the food is made to order, but always comes out hot and tasting great. Any time we have been there, there is one guy that waits on all the tables and he has quite a pleasant demeanor and does a great job attending to everyone. I wish this place was open with even more hours! 10/10 recommend coming here. You will NOT be disappointed. For food recommendations, make sure to try the empanadas or chori-papa. For mains, I highly recommend someone at the table getting Bendeja Paisa; it has a little of everything and is a large portion so there is a good deal that can be shared.

THIS place was GOOD. I got the Lomo Salteado, and it was great. Also, the BREAD. Beautiful, but small, interior, so make sure you call to see if there is room. Service was excellent.

Very good food and service. The prices are a bit high for what you get however the flavor of the food is outstanding. I don’t understand why a couple of people would give it only one star. Something is wrong with them. I recommend calling ahead for reservations because the place is tiny. It only has 6 or 7 tables. Would I go back? Absolutely, but next time I would call ahead. My wife and I got there early enough around 4pm not knowing how small the place is but it started to get busy 30 mins later and some were turned away because they didn’t have reservations.

We have come to The Latin House several times over the last few years and remain impressed by the quality of the food and service. The restaurant is quaint and intimate without feeling too pretentious. The food is fresh, delicious, cooked to perfection, and so satisfying. The service is attentive without feeling overbearing and we have never had less than a great encounter here. We will absolutely be coming back!

Absolute culinary perfection with exceptional service! What a dining delight! Every appetizer and entree was served beautifully and seasoned amazingly. It was well worth the 45 minute drive. We loved the fried red snapper, empanadas, arepas and arroz con pollo. Oh and the fruit drinks were absolutely wonderful.

These are by far the best empanadas I have ever had in my life, it was fresh and made from scratch served. the Bendeja Piasa was outstanding as well. The chimmichuri by itself was incredibly fresh and with the steak it was a match made it heaven. The eggs, rice, chorizo, Chicharron, beans, plantains,and avacado all blended so well together, one of my fav dishes ive had.

We love this place.! We first found it in 2020 and loved it then and still love it now.! Delicious REAL fruit drinks, all fruit or mixed well with ice (I believe.) All the food is wonderful, filled with flavor and cooked to perfection.! Welcoming environment and excellent customer service.!

This place does not disappoint! We’ve been in a couple different times and tried different dishes each time, we were never disappointed. The restaurant is very small and cozy, the decor is nice and the service is wonderful. Will absolutely be back!
