My experience at Fat Olives was an absolute 10/10 from the moment I walked through the door. The ambiance is incredibly lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a high-energy meal in Flagstaff. I have to give a huge shout-out to the staff; the servers are not only well-groomed and professional, from the beautiful ladies to the handsome guys on the team, their customer service is truly top-tier. They were attentive, friendly, and kept the vibe upbeat throughout the entire visit.

As for the food, every single item we ordered was perfection. Whether it was the authentic wood-fired crust or the fresh toppings, the quality is undeniably 10/10. We also caught their happy hour, which absolutely rocked and offered some of the best value I’ve seen in town. For the level of quality you’re getting, the prices are extremely reasonable. There is honestly nothing I could find to give them anything less than a perfect score, Fat Olives is easily one of the best dining experiences in the city.

Is the restaurant insinuating how you are going to feel when you leave? Because trust me, it is inevitable after you eat their delicious food.
We were able to wait less than 20 minutes for a table. I will be upfront and say the reason they are getting a 4 and not a 3 is because of our server, Morgan. (She didn’t ask me to write this by the way!) It started off by hearing her engage with the table next to us and being genuinely interested in the little girl’s hobbies. Then she took the time to have conversations with us in addition to her recommendations. She amazed me.
For food(which was good). We went with the chicken parm. It was decent. Nothing amazing. And we wouldn’t get it again. But we throughly enjoyed the pizza. The crust was the best part. We ordered the special of the night which had pesto, tomato, arugula, the big ball of Italian cheese (I forgot the name). It was banging. Would definitely go back and just get pizza!!
Solid food place. Again you might feel fat when you leave but it is worth it! And YOU AREN’T FAT!!! Don’t go believing that or saying that about yourself! Just playing on the name of the restaurant.

We didn’t call ahead for a reservation; however, we were seated sooner than what we were told. The Valentines Special menu, grooannnn… so good!!! The food was amazing, we took a lot to go because our eyes were bigger than our stomach! We chose from the menu that Guy Fieri tried and it was delicious! The server was friendly and attentive, he ninja swiped our empty drinks and we had a refill without our noticing lol overall great experience! Will definitely come back!

I have to be honest and say that the pizza here is world class. I have traveled to Naples and eaten at Michelin starred pizzerias there, and the pie at Fat Olives actually surpasses them. It is absolutely nothing bad, just pure perfection on a plate.
The vibe matches the food, too. It has a really nice open concept kitchen that makes the whole place feel like a big Italian family household where everyone knows each other. It feels like a true neighborhood spot.
However, the service was a different story. It seems like if you don’t write your order down for them, you had better remember it yourself. We ordered three items and two of them were forgotten, even though they were all put in at the same time. I don’t want this to reflect badly on the overall quality of the restaurant because the food is just that good, and I understand everyone has off days. Still, a 33% success rate for getting orders to the table is pretty rough.
Go for the incredible food, but just be ready to double check that your full order actually arrives.

This has been on my list for a few years so this last time we were in Flagstaff we stopped in on a late night pizza run, and it did not disappoint. The weight staff was great. Our waiter in particular was very friendly and knowledgeable. I think you can order anything off this menu and be totally satisfied. We will definitely be back and would appreciate if one would open in the Tucson area, especially the east side.

10/10!!! Everything was SO fresh and delicious! We started with a blackberry Italian soda and some oven roasted olives, both items were super yummy!

We also got the margarita pizza and it was amazing!! Just like being in Naples! I’ve never had such authentic pizza before!

We finished off with the creme brûlée cheesecake which was tasty, but lacking the brûlée crunch I was expecting.

We tried going twice when we were in town, but both days were booked. Tons of people and hours long wait. We finally decided to go for lunch on a Monday instead of during the weekend and we succeeded. Our waiter Ethan was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us his recommendations. The Belgio Dolce Pizza had a smokey rich flavor and the Marmalade pizza was sweet and savory. I recommend you share pizzas so you can try multiple ones if you have a large party. The goat cheese bruschetta was delicious. The kids got some dough to play with at the table which was very fun for them. Overall great experience. Parking is tricky when they’re packed.

My husband and I shared an appetizer and pizza. Amazing service and the food is absolutely amazing!! Definitely will be coming back again. It was pretty packed even for a Tuesday night so I’d try and get there before 5:30 or if you’re ok with waiting a little bit with groups bigger than 2 people.

This was easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Everything was extremely well balanced.

I’m glad I tried the carnivore and the pepperoni, because the pepperoni allowed me to have a balance of cheese, sauce, crust, and toppings. The carnivore gave me all of that, but it also had more toppings which kind of overshadowed the cheese and sauce; but the bacon and sausage provided additional flavors that made the slice more enjoyable.

The meals are also fairly priced. It’s comparable to, if not better than, Phoenix prices. The only downside of going here is the wait times. It seems that no matter what time you go, the wait will be 15 minutes to an hour long.

I’ll likely be returning when I venture up north again. Fat Olives has earned 5 stars from me.

Started with the Wood Fired Stracciatella
(House-made mozzarella, sweet cream, ricotta, sea salt. Served with house crostini, EVOO, honey balsamic reduction, cracked pepper $14.5). Didn’t honestly understand all of that menu description, but very glad we went ahead Pizza and dessert calzone rounded out our meal with plenty of pizza to bring home!
