My family I are traveled from out of state and were very hungry visiting Lancaster PA. The Amish eateries had long 40 minute wait. Came to Capricio’s Restaurant. It did not disappoint.
Being from NY, we loved the Sicilian Pizza pie, family size Calzone and large salad. Food was excellent and hit the spot. Clean facility and restroom.
Joe treated us like family. What a gentleman!

As a former (escaped?) NYer, it was nice to dine at a place that took me back to good, non-pretentious, delicious Italian food.
Don’t let the humble appearance dissuade you. This was great food at a good price, and plenty left for later reheating. Missed the name of the fellow running the show yesterday, but he was very friendly. Food was ready quickly and he brought it out to the table and checked on us frequently. The lasagna was excellent and came with a basic but fresh chop salad and fluffy, not overly heavy or greasy garlic knots. The spouse’s Cesar wrap was delicious and well proportioned. The decor is relaxed. Overall very good experience that took me back to New York days. Side note, the plastic soda cups were a nice throwback.

We’ve found another hidden gem while traveling through PA. This was the best, authentic Sicilian pizza!! Handmade while you wait/ made to order. The owner was friendly and food prepared quick! No complaints. We’ll be back again, with the rest of the family.

Their pizza is good but everything else is atrocious. Couldn’t even melt the cheese on a cheesesteak, really? The mozz sticks were soaked. My panini came on a soggy roll.

I recommend visiting this establishment. Very tasty Italian pizza and sandwiches. The bread for the sandwiches is very tasty and crispy. The place is cozy and this pizzeria is run by real Italians. We discovered this place by accident because I didn’t want to visit chain restaurants, but wanted real and tasty pizza.

After hearing online about how much Capricio’s pizza tastes like NYC pizza Capricio’s pizza, I was eager to try it. It’s a little bit of a drive for me to get there, but if the food is really good it can be worth it. Sadly the pizza wasn’t.
It was annoyed that I drove past Oregon Pike (location of Brooklyn Pizza Grill) to and from Capricio’s. I wish I had gone to Brooklyn instead. Their pie is consistently good and so far the closest to real NYC pizza that I’ve found in Lancster (tried 12 different places so far). I recommend that you also go to Brooklyn Pizza & Grill on OREGON Pike instead of this place. (This is not affiliated the place in the city on Queen Street, that has a similar name!)

The food was heavenly. But you order and pay at the counter, and they also really need to clean and maintenance the drinks machine which is a little concerning. This is not a very nice to place to eat inside — I recommend takeout or delivery. Excellent food though. Will probably order again.

Best pizza in the area, hands down. We also love their cheesesteaks and stromboli. We never had a bad meal from Capricio’s!

Ordered 3 cheese Calzones and it was super delicious. The dough was very light, tasty and crunchy. Small cozy pizzeria in town.
Calzone made order a pizza and garlic knots to go and wow everything was delicious.

We ordered and picked up 7 pizzas for a birthday party. It was so convenient to the East Lampeter Community Township Park. The pizza was excellent. Next time we’re in town we will visit and eat in. The place was very clean and staff pleasant.
