I ♡ El Habanero!
The location is a food truck parked at the Carroll Motor Fuels gas station at the intersection of Eastern Ave and Kane St. They no longer have a menu on the truck and now only serve tacos, which are super delicious and incredibly affordable.
The kind man told us that they served beef, pork, and chicken tacos, so we got one of each meat – 3 tacos for $10 flat. BRING CASH. The kind people working also don’t really speak any English, but the transaction and service was very simple and fast regardless. I am definitely going to go back whenever I get gas again (also, the gas at this station is usually the lowest on this street as well. Very convenient!)
The taste of the tacos were very fresh, the salsas are strong and spicy and accent the cilantro and onions very well, all over a slightly chewy soft corn tortilla. 3 tacos is a perfect portion, but if you’re really hungry, I would say go for 4. My favorite was definitely the beef taco.

Was craving tacos and this was the perfect spot. I had chorizo and Al pastor both seasoned very well and the accompaniments were amazing. Love it

Excellent casual place for a flavorful chicken taco snack with green hot sauce adding tiny spicy kick if you enjoy spices. I love it!
Also, it costs only $3. i think it is a much better alternative than McDonald’s!
The yellow drink tasted refreshing, but i don’t know what it is (prob pineapple or something). the owner offered it for me to try and i had no clue what he said.
By the way, this is a food van place, not a real restaurant, next to gas station, but it has a tiny table and bench to sit if you want to stay here to eat. Do bring cash – they don’t take credit cards.

Very GOOD customer service & atmosphere for a food truck. Has a restaurant feel to it. I’m NOT big on spicy/hot food & it definitely was For a Mexican eatery, I guessed it would be. The food was actually REALLY REALLY GOOD in spite of the spice & the drinks were SPECTACULAR, GREAT TASTE. Can’t remember the name but it was almost like coconut/vanilla snowball milk!

Ok.. Was blown away by the chicken Tostada. Very seldom am I surprised but I gotta say this place makes THE BEST chicken Tostada in the country. You gotta get everything. F@CKING Flavor Shock. Im shook. I lived in AZ and been to Mexico several times. My wife is Mexican and I’ve eaten tons of Tostadas in my life and she makes the 2nd best now. Crazy this place is in a gas station!!!!
