Winnie’s wine program focuses on wine flights, with white, red, sparkling and rose flights available. Winnie’s also offers 30+ wines by the glass, as well as several bottle-only offerings. Several higher-end or vintage reds are dispensed using a Coravin system, allowing guests to taste these wines without ever opening the bottle. There are plenty of beer offerings in addition to the wine as well. Behind the 18-seat bar are more than a dozen draft taps that showcase popular beers from around the world. Plus, there are a limited number of cocktails on the menu as well, including a frozen option or two. Food offerings consist of shareable options, with an emphasis on appetizers, salads, and wine-friendly charcuterie and cheese boards.

Unique complex just outside of Lafayette Square. Winnie’s shares the building with Hamiltons and The Garage in the back. You can enter in the door on Chouteau or from the side lot near The Garage.

My group of 6 had a wonderful time at Winnie’s! First time for all of us, we were immediately welcomed by Dawn – our incredibly kind and informative server. What a great space to enjoy some wine and appetizers!! Parking is on after but easy to find. As you enter the world maps, aviation decoration, incandescent lighting and St Louis artifacts brings great joy. Great combination of wine flights as well as decent list of full bottle wine selection and cocktails. Servers are great and service is fast. The relaxing couches as well as high seats are comfy. We tried Rose flights bottle of Cabernet and mock-tails and everything worked out well. The scallops and Ahi Tuna are a must to try! Lobster Mac and cheese, seasoned fries and Brussels sprouts are also highly recommended. Definitely a place worth returning with your dear folks for a wheels up experience-Ciao!!

Listen here. I am giving this place 5 stars SOLELY because of the fantasticness of the waitress we had named Dawn. It had been a HELL of a work week. My coworker took me to get a drink because I had cried every day because of typical workplace stress and bulkshit. She picked Winnie’s saying I would love it. I dont drink wine. I drink but I would pick many things before I pick wine. But when it Rome… I asked Dawn for suggestions and she helped me pick a flight of wine. It was absolutely delicious. She was so kind and FUNNY and personable and I wish she could have joined us! (That is always the definition of exemplary service to me is when you want the restaurant team to join in the fun of the meal) By the end of the dinner I had had so much fun and good conversation and drinks I could feel the stress of the week melt away.
Whatever yall are paying, Dawn, it ain’t enough. I will definitely be back.
My ONLY complaint was that the menu doesn’t seem to have a lot of gluten free options, my coworker has celiac, and we totally get it, wine goes best with cheese and bread! But maybe something to look into in the future? Thanks!

My daughter and I stoped for Happy Hour before a show at the Fox. Sat out on the patio and it was lovely. Our server was just fantastic. We each did a wine flight and 1 small plates. Lobster mac and cheese was pretty good and I enjoyed the prime rib sliders…Great deal on Wed happy hour. Our server even brought us another wine each to try before we left..

My wife and I went there on Wednesday, Oct 18th. I heard about it from my wife a while back, and we planned to go there. We were greeted at the door with a dynamic server, Dawn. She was fantastic. She explained all the meals we chose and did a great job of checking out which ones had garlic in it. My wife has an issue with garlic. She took care of us. We chose 2 flights. The Cabernet flight “Call me a Cab”. I chose the Pinot Noir flight” Puddle jumper.””Great presentation, great food. We got a mini tour. They even have a Bourbon room and a special party room for small get-togethers and events. All food is prepared at the Hamilton steakhouse around the corner. They share the space . A place you have to experience. You might even see Dawn the dynamo server.

My wife and I have been trying wine bars on Fridays, and Winnie’s was a delight. If you’re looking for a place to take a date for a casual talk over wine and small plates, then Winnie’s should be on the list. They offer flights, bottles and single glass pours of a wide variety of wines, as well as beer and cocktails. The bar staff was helpful and very attentive, and the lively environment was very inviting. The next time we go, we’ll be bringing friends, and we’ll try to grab a couple couches. Went for the first time last night and loved it! Our server Dawn was so helpful with choosing wines to our tastes and creating a fun atmosphere, would come back just to have her as a server again! The sliders and cauliflower fritters were so good as well.
