WHERE ELSE CAN TWO WOMEN EAT FOR UNDER $15. Although it took as a moment to get seated, we let the fine and lovely waitress know we were in a hurry and she BING BANG BOOM got us the most DELECTABLE Eggs Benedict with taters for less than $7 each in MINUTES. With an array of hot sauces and quick and easy meals, what more could you ask for? If I keep going here, I just might be their next mascot. ITS THAT GOOD. EXCELLENT WORK CHUBBYS. TALLY HO

Cute lil place with a chubby baby welcoming you right at the beginning of Eagle River… Great food at a good price! Husband ordered steak and eggs. Wasn’t a piddly sirloin… Was a nice, fat slab! Pancake the size of a manhole cover! Mom got a huge chopped salad with Greek balsamic. Loved it so much we took extra dressing home with the rest of the salad. I had a deliciously wonderful turkey BLT with Honey Mustard for dipping. They even let me upgrade to a half order of Mozzarella sticks! For the win! Recommend this place for good food, atmosphere, good service and efficiency!

Anne B was a very good server!

Chubby’s is the best place to have a fresh cooked meal in the Northwoods…With the addition now of Chris to the cooking Staff of Kyle, Tammy, and Shauna it’s such a joy!…The boys are wonderful as the hard workers in the family tradition…seeing them all brings a smile to your face, and when you get your order you will be smiling the rest of the day…The food is really that good, and fresh…Yes there will a little wait, but everything is cooked fresh to order, and I would believe that is what most people would want there food to be…

This is a great Northwoods diner. The menu is well populated with the expected fare and the pricing is good. As this is a fairly new place still, I came in prepared to be gracious if domething was less than perfect but no forgiveness was necessary. Everything was great. There’s a LOT of seating in rhe large dining area and the open area feels roomy even with half the tables occupied. My food was prepared very quickly. I was eating just five minutes after ordering. My table was decked out with all the accoutrements to make breakfast go smoothly without making the server contantly run. I got good attention, good food and paid a good price for it. I’m a happy customer. Chubbys is well worth revisiting.

Chicken stir fry was just okay. Lots of choices on the menu. Place is fairly large and can seat a lot of people.

Looking for a cozy spot to grab a quick bite and a great cup of coffee, Chubby’s is a charming local café well worth your visit. The menu leans heavily toward hearty meals, sandwiches, wraps and burgers that are served all day, making it perfect whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or a trail ride stopover in between.

Breakfast is a standout here, with generous portions and thoughtfully prepared dishes. Favorites like the Benedict breakfast and grilled chicken sandwiches come loaded with perfectly cooked sides and extras that make every plate feel special.

The atmosphere is open and welcoming—one of those places where you can relax and enjoy your meal. It’s easy to see why it’s a go-to for so many locals. The service is personal, genuine, and always delivered with a smile. Thoughtful seasonal decorations warm the walls and windows.

This friendly neighborhood café has quickly become a firm favorite for us, and we find ourselves coming back time and time again.

Lots of parking available in the lot. Ramp for sturdy and welcoming entrance. One note to know is a step mild incline into the building which would pose challenging for wheelchair access. Staff was available and helpful.

We had never heard of this place but the restaurant we were planning to go to was closed for a Thanksgiving break. We decided to give Chubby’s a try. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the portions generous! You can order breakfast all day long if you like so I went with a cheese filled crepe with a fruit topping. It was the biggest crepe I’ve ever had!! Will definitely make the trip there again!

5 of us ate here and each ordered a different meal. Pancakes (fluffy and big), veggie skillet ( layered nicely, tasty and not greasy at all), burger with tater tots ( tasty and not greasy, double thumbs up for tater tots), and chicken and ham Cordon Bleu sandwich with fries (great flavor). Our server was really nice and attentive. Everything was very clean. We will return!

Great local gem! Perfect spot for a quick bite and coffee. The all-day menu is solid—especially the hearty breakfast options like the Benedict, housemade soups, and grilled chicken sandwich/wraps, both packed with flavor. Relaxed vibe, friendly service, and a place locals clearly love. It’s become our go-to for late afternoons and one-on-one meetings.

Nice, new, clean establishment in Eagle River; friendly waitstaff. Large menu offerings and moderate prices / good value BUT food and atmosphere could use a little TLC/improvement. The American Fries which I upgraded to with my omelette were soggy and glistening with oil; no seasoning and were not fully cooked or crisp at all. When I brought to the attention of my server, she stated that the crispy version takes about 20 minutes so next time I order them, to ask for them well done/crispy. Well, in my opinion, if u know this about your offerings, u should explain that to your customers. They were not edible and she did not offer to take them off the bill ($2 upcharge) or to have them crisped up. The western omelette was good and plentiful, however the cheese was a slice of American cheese over the top and barely melted. I’ve never had an omelette served this way; usually the cheese is inside the omelette and fully melted.

The atmosphere is clean, friendly a d spacious, however, it could use some decor; perhaps that’s coming as they recently opened.
