We didn’t know it was attached to a gas station which lead to some people in the group not even wanting to try it. The gas station and restrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Restaurant is attached to the convenience store part of the station but separated out.
So glad we tried it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable too. I got a double bacon burger, my daughter got chicken strips, and my son got the “cheesy cheesy” burger which is made like a grilled cheese with toasted and buttered buns. We also got fries and shakes; vanilla, chocolate, and brownie.
Once you order they throw down a fresh ball of ground beef onto the cook surface right there in front of you and fry up the fries. Food is made to order and brought to the table. Burgers were great and fries were better than average but needed some salt or seasonings. They also don’t have any fry / house sauce. Otherwise great. Those shakes were on point too!
Don’t let the location discourage you from trying a great burger place!

I was really looking forward to this grilled cheese, but unfortunately it was completely burnt. The bread was blackened and bitter, overpowering any flavor from the cheese. Instead of being warm and crispy, it was hard and dry. A grilled cheese should be golden, buttery, and melty — this one missed the mark entirely. Pretty disappointing experience overall.

For the second time, I have watched cross contamination issues from staff to food. When I brought this up to the staff, it was brushed off like it was no big deal today. I watched a male worker take two fries out of the basket and eat it wipe his face and then wipe his hand on his pants. He then proceeded to handle people’s food. The workers assume because they are wearing gloves that it’s fine. I let them know that if they touch their face, they need to change their gloves, etc. I will no longer be doing business here as I don’t want to get sick nor risk my children and elderly parents just go down the street to In-N-Out at this point Better food, better service and with a smile.

Recommend ordering in advance or come with patience. About 20 minutes from ordering to ready. We’ve learned to order before we drive down. Sides were best part. My burger was somehow dry and crazy greasy. Bummed out as we enjoyed it more before. We want to love it being so close to home. No flavor. Might as well suck it up and drive to Vancouver to 5 guys or make a burger at home.

Saw a sign for gyros from I-5 and decided to stop in. This store is a combination restaurant and had station. The interior is clean. I ordered a gyro bowl. It was ready in 5 minutes. The gyro was just average, and having pickles instead of cucumbers was unexpected. The bathrooms were also clean. Pricing was a little high considering the quantity and quality of the meal.

Really good food. The chicken tenders are very interesting breading very tasty and unique. The burger was very good got the classic was more than enough burger. Their fries are very good generous portions very crisp and fresh. Nice people working there. Would go here over Nancy Joe’s any day.

Burgers weren’t quite as good as what I’ve had at other Wayback Burgers. Patty could have used more browning and the cheese wasn’t melted all the way. Cheese curds were great. Service was friendly and it was a good option on a road trip.
