Excellent server by the name of Karen. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was very friendly and attentive. Genuinely cared about patrons. Food was good but hit and miss on some things. Not a lot if fish to choose from. Only Mahi Mahi and farm raise grouper. Had mussels with garlic cream sauce. Taste a bit bitter due to pungent amount of garlic. Best onion rings. Bar drinks reasonably priced and mixed well.

The fist thing i will say is that the waitress was great. Everything else was terrible. For starters they don’t actually ever give you real grouper. Through a series of questions our waitress round aboutly let us in on the fact that all they really serve when you order grouper is swai. After some research we found out that this is basically a farm raised catfish. I was very disappointed when i realized that the $19 grouper dinner i ordered was the same piece of fish that came in my nephews $5 fish sandwich, neither of which were grouper. Seems like lying and stealing if you ask me. If that wasn’t enough, before we had finished we spotted a rodent under someone’s booth and finally a roach ran down the wall and under our table. If you like catfish, and want to dine with mice and roaches, you will love the grumpy grouper, or should i say the grumpy farm raised catfish!!!

Hit or miss. Don’t eat the mac nut incrusted grouper. Do eat the grouper fingers. Roach problem. Nice bartender. Open late.
