Stopped in for lunch today with a friend and I got the Philly Cheesesteak.
I can’t say that this is an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, but none the less a great sandwich. I think if you’re being a sandwich snob, then yeah, this sandwich might disappoint you.
For me, loved the taste of it. It has all the usual components of a Philly, but it’s just made different. Different doesn’t mean bad! Very happy with what I got and I will definitely be coming back to try their other sandwiches.
Also, the food trays your food is brought out in was really clean! Restaurant overall was very clean.
The owner Sherman is a super nice dude!

Stopped here to grab a sandwich for lunch and some house made chips. Enjoyed the sandwich immensely and had a very difficult time figuring out which one to get. Ended up getting the New York.
We recommend visiting if you want a great sandwich and sides.

I love how Sherman learns his customer’s name. Pros the restaurant is extremely clean and welcoming. I’m addicted to the baguette chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meats are generous. The veggies are crisp and fresh. It’s a huge sandwich,depending on how hungry I am I can save half for later or share. There sides are yummy,I enjoy the potato and maccaroni salads. The service is fast, warm and welcoming. I’m glad I found this place. Try this place you will not be disappointed.

I was excited to to Bronx sandwich but I was pretty disappointed. The boss sandwich was not good and I think they would do better with different cold cuts as well as a vinaigrette. The Philly cheese fries cost more than the sandwich and were just “ok”. Sandwich, fries, and a drink was $31.

Best Pastrami on the west coast according to my Brooklyn Deli snob husband. I got the Reuben. Pastrami was tender, juicy and just enough fat. Fries were made fresh to order. Hubby is a purist and just went old school pastrami on rye. He was impressed. Sandwich is BIG (but not crazy like Katz’s). But enough to share if you aren’t a huge eater. The potato salad was good. (I’m sure not homemade) but very tasty. The pickle was a great classic dill spear. Hubby was hoping for. half sour, but I was happy it wasn’t as he gave me his lol. We got a black and white, we will update review with the black and white later!

Was looking forward to trying their cheesesteak. Here is the verdict:
– This is not a “Philly” (and not marketed as one so it’s fine). The steak is in sliced chunks, not chopped. There are a lot more vegetables (onions, peppers, etc) than a true Philly and the bread is thick and dense.
– The filling was delicious with the cheese evenly spread amongst the meat and vegetables and melted very well. I enjoyed that aspect a lot. Great pepper and onion flavor!
– The beef was not the highest quality. It was tough in some areas and fatty in some pieces. Not terrible but not high quality.
– The bread is thick hoagie bread. It was not toasted or heated and it was dense and thick as you can see in the photos. Nothing like a Philly with an Amoroso roll like you can get at other places in the area. I ended up eating the filling with a fork and chucking the bread. The bread also cracked and fell apart as soon as I tried to eat it as a sandwich initially. Definitely not a fan of the bread here.
– There are no pickles or condiments available but I was able to get some ketchup upon asking for it. Would be great to have ketchup, onions, mustard, pickles, peppers, relish out and available for customers in the future, like many sandwich places do.
Not a terrible sandwich but for the price it’s not a great deal and I will not be ordering it again. Next time will try another sandwich and hopefully they have different bread options. I think the main thing lacking at this otherwise awesome sandwich spot is their choice of bread. Let’s see how it goes next time. Want to try the reuben next.

Dined in today after a friend told me about it. Ordered the east coast pastrami and it was so good! It was made fresh, and the pastrami was really good quality. Much better than a west coast style sandwich, and had lots of yummy seasoning on the brisket. The owners were also so nice and welcoming!

We love Sherman!! I ordered from here on Doordash earlier this week for the first time and I enjoyed what I got so much, we decided to drive over here and get it directly today. Happy we did, Sherman was hospitable and kind and you don’t get that service from delivery. The housemade turkey is awesome, I can’t wait to try more
