We were so excited to eat here as it got raving reviews for food, but it was a big disappointment.
We went there on Thanksgiving and when we got seated, our waitress told us right after she told us her name, that if we wanted the flank steak dish, we had to order now as only 2 left. Then she paused, as if she was expecting us to order right away, but we said we wanted to look at the menu first. The turkey was gone and not many on the menu so we decided to tell her that we wanted the steak. We also ordered baked brie, calamari, and clam linguine. We did not order drinks because we don’t want them (you will know why I mentioned this as you read further) . After we got the steak, and new tables sat, we heard other waitress said the same thing to them mentioning only 2 left. I felt like I was lied to. The steak was the most expensive item on the menu, and it was horrible, extremely dry. I was not happy about it and stopped eating. My husband told our waitress that it was super dry. She said we could order a drink, on the house, and she suggested we order soda! You made a huge mistake on the $46 dish and offered me a soda?!? My husband asked about dessert, she said she had to go ask her boss. She came back to say yes. At this point, I made my husband eat my dry steak and I ate his clam linguine, it was extremely salty we couldn’t finish it. Also a lot of mud in the clams. This made me wonder if this was the same chef as in other reviews because those two main courses were unbelievably below average.
Extremely disappointing. We won’t return.

While in Ocean Shores I got my food here at La Spiaggia for take out back to my hotel twice. Ill say that I looked around and it was clean and the atmosphere was good. The food here is EXCELLENT and I highly recommend eating here if you like Italian food. The portions are on the larger side. The pricing is in line with a touristy area like everything else here. I took a Picture of the bar area and the menu since im taking my delicious food back to my hotel.

Had the most amazing meal and experience here. What a gem to be found in sleepy ocean shores! Love the tons of gluten free options as I am Celiac. They have breaded dishes like calamari, chicken parm, and fried mozzarella all prepared in a dedicated gluten free fryer! Can’t even find that sort of thing in the city! I thought I didn’t like calamari but theirs was incredible! Everyone else also thought the experience was amazing. Our server Jordan was top notch and super knowledgeable about the menu and its ingredients and preparation standards. This will be a must-visit place every time I’m on the coast.

My fiance & I come to Ocean Shores once a year & we always like to try a new place to eat. This year we chose La Spiaggia and it did not disappoint! It is now one of our top favorite places to dine!
We shared the Bread App, Steak with Asparagus & Crispy Potato Balls, and the Spinach Ricotta Lasagna. All of it was outstanding & exquisite! And I can’t wait to come back next year to try my next outstanding & exquisite meal!

First time visiting the North Shore, and we decided to have lunch at La Spiaggia. What an incredible experience! The salad was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Honestly, everyone should try it! Every item on the menu looked fantastic, and the quality of the food truly stood out. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is incredible, the drinks were top notch, and I have never had a Caesar salad that delicious.. the homemade dressing was truly wonderful. We will definitely return!

I had a wonderful time at La Spiaggia tonight: our server was great. The fresh, house-made focaccia with oil and balsamic vinegar was warm and delicious. Our shared appetizer, two entrees, drinks, and two deserts were amazing. I highly recommend this place. These folks know what they’re doing when it comes to Italian food.

A local suggested we try La Spiaggia for our anniversary dinner, and she was so right. The tiger shrimp skillet is possibly the best meal I have ever eaten. I will be dreaming about this beautiful plate of food for the foreseeable future. Hubby got the steak of the moment which was a 16oz rib eye and he loved it.

AMAZING!!! the service was amazing! Very attentive and informative! Cheryl was our server and she brought smiles to our faces and kept us up to date on our food, even letting us know she would put our order for our main course in 5 minutes after we received our appetizers as to let our bellys settle.
The levels of flavor and depth of the food always amazes us, from the drinks, to the house made bread with the olive oil and balsamic vingear dip, the appetizers, then of course the main course is absolutely stunning!! We never leave hungry and always are satisfied with the food here. Dreaming of it when we leave and begging for more each day we don’t have it!
The atmosphere is very cozy yet sophisticated, a place you can come at anytime for any occasion, weather in khaki shorts and Hawaiian shirts or in full formal wear. You feel welcome no matter who you are or what you wear. 20/10 recommend
