Love the Tangsuyuk and Jjajeongmyeon here! Classic comfort staples and the textures are perfect for both.

We liked the Tangsuyuk the best – great batter, the right amount of sweetness which didn’t overpower and perfect thickness. For me, JjaJangMyeon was second because I loved the silky texture of the noodles paired with the black bean sauce. There were a lot of onions though and I wished there was more ground meat.

The King Seafood Jjampong looked impressive and the broth was clean, but I felt like it was slightly watered down that day. The crab didn’t have a lot of meat to it and the shrimp, sadly wasn’t fresh that day perhaps it was an off day since the restaurant was packed. The Squid had perfect texture though! Keep in mind that this is a literal mom and pop shop end-to-end so they are the ones cooking, waiting, and also serving at times. Wait times can be long if you’re in a rush – please be patient.

Overall, I’ll definitely come back for my Tangsuyuk and Jjajeongmyeon cravings. Fun fact: in Chinese canto, these dishes are pronounced almost the same “Tong siu yook” and “Ja Jeon Mein”

My wife and I were eager to try traditional Korean cuisine for the first time, and after searching online, we discovered this absolute gem. While we can’t speak to the authenticity as Korean food newcomers, what we can say is that every dish was incredibly delicious and truly unforgettable.

The portion sizes were impressively generous, and the moment our dishes arrived at the table, we were captivated by both the enticing aromas and stunning presentation. The jjamppong (spicy seafood soup) was phenomenally flavorful with a perfect level of heat and an abundance of fresh seafood. The gimbap was remarkably fresh with a wonderful balance of textures and fillings. And the jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) was so addictive that we couldn’t stop eating – the rich, savory sauce coating the chewy noodles was absolutely divine.

Despite our best efforts to finish everything, the portions were so substantial that we had to take food home. Fortunately, the leftovers were just as enjoyable the next day, which is always a good sign of quality.

The combination of outstanding food quality, generous portions, and exceptional value has instantly made me a regular customer. Whether you’re a Korean food veteran or a curious first-timer like we were, this restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience that won’t disappoint your taste buds or your wallet.

Really good find for Korean/Chinese. We ordered the Jjajangmyun, seafood Jjambong and beef bolgogi bimbap. All the dishes were delicious and had plenty of leftovers. The portions are definitely shareable. Will have to go back and try more of their items!

Finally found a place in Austin that serves good jjamppong, jjajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk! We thought all 3 dishes were well made and delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We went as 2 for Saturday lunch. At first, I didn’t expect so much because there’s no specific reviews about Korean dishes that I like. But, it went beyond my expectations . We ordered 파전 (Korean pancake), 짬뽕 (Korean spicy seafood noodle), 탕수육 (Sweet and sour deep fried crispy pork), and 족발 (pork feet). (Lacking 1 dish and bad qualified pictures since we’re too excited to enjoy the food and forgot to take them at the first look ㅋㅋ.) All of them were excellent! The portions are big, the food was made the best (out of other Korean restaurants I’ve been visited so far). The waitress at lunch time was sweet, friendly, warmly welcomed us and always smiled. The atmosphere/vibe was great and comfortable. Those combination made our lunch become tastier . Highly recommended .

The food here suits my taste perfectly. Especially when I’m feeling tired, it reminds me of food from my hometown — real comfort food for the soul. However, the service needs improvement. When you order jjamppong, you have to peel the shrimp with your hands, and since it makes you sweat, it would be nice if napkins were provided proactively without having to ask. The same goes for pickled radish. Waiting to make eye contact with a server just to ask for something takes a long time. Also, the jjamppong has too much broth; I would prefer more solid ingredients.

There used to be only one place in Austin that served Korean-style Chinese food, but a friend recently told me that this place offers it too, so I decided to check it out. I ordered jjajangmyeon, jjampong, and guobaorou. Despite it being a weekday lunch, the restaurant was quite busy, which may explain why the food took a while to arrive. Unfortunately, the guobaorou was soaked in a watery sauce, so it lost its crispiness and was difficult to separate. The jjajangmyeon and jjampong weren’t bad, but they felt a bit too greasy. Since I had high expectations, the food was a bit disappointing, but the staff were incredibly friendly. I was also impressed by the chefs, who seemed a bit older, working hard in the kitchen. I hope they can address some of these issues and continue to improve the flavors!

We decided to try a new restaurant for lunch and was so happy we did.

We tried their newest menu item, jajangmyeon, which was delicious!, along with several other dishes.

The owners are so kind, atmosphere is calm and inviting, and food is exactly as the name states, fresh. And can I mention how beautiful everything looks! We will return.

Had Jjamppong, jjajangmyun, and tang su yuk. They all had decent basis but were all too oily. No one from my family finished their dish. The pickled radish was fine, tho.
Also found a strand of hair in my jjamppong. Didn’t care to point it out and it might have been a one time thing but def not a good impression on my first visit. Probably won’t visit for a while.
