So last time here was horrible. Steak was way overcooked. Eggs are small. Pancake was small. Pancakes were cold! Pancakes were so cold the butter wouldn’t even melt. 50 dollars for 2 breakfasts and the steak was like shoe leather and the eggs aee small or medium? How chintzy can you get? I got a full plate of potatoes though. Sadly we will never go here again. Previous visits were pretty good but 50 dollars for breakfast is steep for cold pancakes and overcooked steak. Server was in the weeds and we had to ask for some things several times.

We fully enjoyed our meal at the Black Bear Diner. The portions were extremely generous, the food was delicious and our server was very attentive! We visited during Christmas season and the diner was decorated with the cutest holiday displays. We loved how they had options for seasonal drinks or pies/cakes as well! Looking forward to returning on my next visit to Colorado Springs.

Dined here for breakfast several times over our four day visit to Colorado Springs. Our server Ashley took care of us multiple times with happy, timely and prompt service. Our food was excellent each time and we appreciated the variety on the menu. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

We are visiting from San Antonio Texas. Tried Black Bear Diner our first night in Colorado Springs. Well the food was so good we ate there the next morning for breakfast, and the next two mornings as well. Food was amazing. Megan was a great server, friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making our visits a great experience.

We really enjoyed our visit to black bear! The service was very quick, food was amazing and our server did a great job! They had a ton of gluten-free options as you can get gluten-free bread on any sandwich and a gluten-free bun on anything and can even make the pancakes gluten-free. So many choices! We would definitely go here again!

Everything about our experience was perfect! Our server Dwan was amazing and super kind. We had great service, the food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy cabin feel made everything better. Portions were big and worth the value, definitely make sure to get an order of biscuits they’re huge so one order of perfect for two… 10/10 would recommend!

I ordered the biscuits with gravy as my meal option, but it was disappointing because the biscuits were not buttery. Looking at the pictures now I should have gotten a waffle. The food For the rest of my party looked and tasted really good. The atmosphere was really fun with bear themes everywhere.

Such a cute restaurant. Had a bear theme inside and out with plenty of black bear souvenir’s available for purchase. The breakfast here is plentiful, we’ll worth wait and the price. The pancakes & biscuits and gravy are a must try. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in the springs

We were there on Wednesday the 4th of February around 1030AM. Not a great experience at this location. We only had the server (who wasn’t wearing a name tag and didn’t introduce herself to us) come and speak to us 3 times during the hour we were there. Once was to take our order, the second time was to bring our food, and the third was to take our payment. She walked by our table 7 or 8 times, never acknowledging us or looking to see if we needed more coffee (only had 2 cups the whole time) or to even check on our food. I want to point out that it was NOT busy at all.
The food was difficult to enjoy because it was cold to the touch. It almost seemed like it sat in the window for far too long. I would have liked to mention that to her or even to a manager (not sure if one was even working, never seen one the whole time we were there). Not a great experience to say the least. When you pay more than 60 bucks for only 3 people, you would expect that your food would be hot or that someone there would care enough to check in on you in case something wasn’t right.
Not a great way to start the day to be sure. This place used to be good, I don’t know what has happened. I sure do miss the Sparks and Reno, NV. locations, they never disappointed. And I thought Village Inn was bad, this experience makes them look like a great place to hangout! (which they are not by a long shot).
