Awesome pick for a big breakfast to get you through the morning. Very friendly cook with the small town atmosphere where most people know each other that come here. This is a restaurant where you can ask for anything and that’s what you get. If you’re hungry hope you enjoy your meal here like we did.

What a lovely spot!! Owner and his wife are super friendly, food is reasonably priced with generous portions and tasty as hell. Eating here feels like you stopped at an old friend’s house and they’re welcoming you with a home cooked meal.
Great service, delicious food, truly lovely people. We stopped for lunch, my partner had a monstrous breakfast sandwich with a side of hashbrowns and I had a cheeseburger sub with fried cauliflower. Both of our sub rolls were buttered and toasted which was a nice touch. Cauliflower was fried perfectly and served with a flavorful ranch dressing. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the cheeseburger sub’s default configuration is bacon, fried onions, house made special sauce (reminded me of Trader Joe’s Incredisauce) in addition to standards like lettuce and tomatoes.
This is a real gem, if you’re in the area, stop in for a bite and some good chit chat. If you’ve watched Bob’s Burgers – this establishment is what it would be like if Bob and Linda decided to serve more than just burgers. Oh, just like Bob’s, this establishment is cash only. ATM is on site, $2.50 service fee (pretty standard).
Fun side note; while we were leaving we grabbed a soda from the machine outside. It didn’t seem to want to take a dollar bill; the owner noticed and came outside with a handful of quarters. He explained the bill grabber has been on the fritz and they were waiting for a new part. He wouldn’t accept the cash from us and went back inside to finish closing up. What a nice touch – genuinely great folks running this place!!

Stopped in today with my parents for a quick lunch. Food was hot, quick and perfectly cooked. Portions are very generous the cheesesteak was the best I have had in years. My folks were overwhelmed by the friendliness and attentiveness of the server and owner.
We have found a new favorite place to eat when they are in town.

Such a great experience. You can tell it’s family run & you feel like a part of the family. I got the chicken cheese steak & the rest of our group got breakfast. Everyone thought their food was delicious and well worth the price. Will definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend ordered from here this morning, we was excited to try, unfortunately we were disappointed. My boyfriend got creamed chipped beef and he said the gravy still tastes almost doughy like. We ordered country fries with cheese instead they decided to give us home fries. We have two breakfast sandwich’s to try yet and I’m almost hesitant to try it. 1 star rating!

Jake’s is one of those restaurants you crave after a hard day of work. My roommate and I went today to treat ourselves during Finals Week, and everything we had was amazing. My roommate got the B.L.T, while I got the Monte Cristo and the Cheese Sticks. The Monte Cristo was packed with flavor and felt so comforting to eat after being out in the rain. The Cheese Sticks were perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside; the side of marinara it came with complimented them perfectly. My roommate says their B.L.T was one of the best they ever had! Jake’s is definitely going to become a regular spot for us. The food was absolutely delicious, our waitress was so kind and attentive, the restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, everything about this place is perfection!
