I’m going in tonight to order the 16-oz ribeye to go. When I get ready to pay, the cashier says You had the 14 OZ ribeye? I said no, I ordered the 16 OZ. Then the guy who took my order said well, I put the 14 OZ down. I said that is not what I ordered, but screw it, I’ll take it, then the manager stepped in and said no, make him a 16 OZ. I said rare and he called it back rare. I get home, I have four pieces of steak, one MIGHT be a ribeye MAYBEE. NONE of it was even close to medium rare, much less what I ordered, rare. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I called up there to speak with the manager, and he wanted a chance to make it right. I responded that you had a chance to make it right, and this is what I got. I will be happy to post a picture of him fixing it if this site allows me to do so.

Now the Kings BBQ on Underwood has been a favorite of my family for years the Kings BBQ of Baytown is definitely not . On more than one occasion I’ve ordered bbq sandwiches from here and they are so fatty that you take bites and all it is is fat. I understand that brisket has fat but there is absolutely no reason that I should take a bite of a bbq sandwich and get a literal mouthful of bread and fat. 20 dollars for a sandwich and some fries only to be unable to eat the sandwich. This was the last time they got me, I’ll just have to go all the way to La Porte for good food.

Brisket plate was not good. Potatoe salad and baked beans ok. The sliced brisket was horrible. Stringy and fat on every slice. So gross!

Very disappointed. The food looked good but certainly didn’t taste good. Nothing spectacular about this place. All the food is pretty bland (the meats and the sides) The Bar-B-Q sauce lacks flavor and is watery. I had brisket, bbq chicken 1/2, baked beans, corn casserole, and toast. I didn’t even eat half of it it was so bland. I ended up dunking the chicken in ranch dressing just to make it have taste. The corn casserole had about as much flavor as a glass of milk. Nothing special about this place. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it was pretty clean, and they were pretty friendly.

Literally ordered a door dash and it was the poorest quality I’ve ever seen in my life. I got a Fing wing on my bbq 3 meat plate for my chicken. A wing????? Fries were soggy and I got like 7 total fries. Drink was missing. No bbq sauce on my 3 meat plate which included my 1 single chicken wing. Gave them money for ranch it was missing. Places like this scam off the top with deliveries and if they leave the drink and ranch and give people a chicken wing instead of what they ordered that adds up as a ton of stolen money for the owner. Scrape a little off the top from everybody and that’s a nice little bonus. My brisket was literally white and looks like it was boiled. Would like to get my money back from what the lazy people stole from me. And don’t respond back with a standard form message saying please reach out to us. If you employees literally produce the food that was sent to me, I would wipe the entire place clean of employees and start over.

Kings BBQ is just BBQ. No frills or fantastic sides to compliment the dishes. Service has always been good but the prices have gone nuts here. I got a baked potato with chicken and BBQ sauce and a drink which made me shell out 20 bucks. It’s not spectacular food area or environment to pay that for a baked potato and a drink. I just alright.

I’m guessing ppl go here who don’t have taste buds for good bbq of catfish .. or even sides I ate and left a tip but many if I could get my money back I would . There is no taste to the Mac n cheese my fish was over cooked kids tenders taste weird I only say cause she didn’t eat them when I say it was like freezer taste chicken it was . I guess the brisket sandwich was an 6 outta 10 he ate it all but he likes pretty much anything in Baytown. Beside that I guess if u wanna just throw money away u can go eat here it was over 60 dollars for 2 adults and 1 kid meal I wouldn’t go back . They even got mu order wrong but i had been waiting 15 mins for a catfish plate and I was hungry alot went to waste I feel bad but wasn’t good enough to keep and or eat later
