I’ve eaten at Bubba Gump shrimp co. A couple of times before but in a different state. The food is always great and so is the service, and here was no exception.
But here our waiter was faster than any waiter we have had before. He came by for drink orders and my wife wasn’t ready so he went to bring my diet coke and wanted he will be back faster than you think and he was back in seconds, so my wife still wasn’t ready, so he said he would go get water to give her some time. Well that only took seconds, so she still didn’t know but then he helped her choose.
During our meal he noticed my diet coke was getting low so he might a refill just before I needed it. He was always available for anything we needed.
Bubba Gump is a chain so you generally know what to expect, but the service here was exceptional.
I think we may go for a second visit before we leave town.

My family and I visited Bubba Gump in Anaheim October5th and 9th 2025. I had Mama’s Fried Chicken and my wife had the Shrimp. The fried chicken was crispy, the mashed potatoes and gravy were great. The service was prompt, professional and informative. We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later. We also enjoyed the the restaurant decor and tone. I was a fan of Forest Gump and now I am a fan of the restaurant. If you’re in town I recommend checking it out.

Wait was faster than expected! Great service and server. The birthday song was so funny and entertaining. My fav about this spot is the ocean view and pier view.
There was A bit of a wait on food but food did come out hot. I loved my daughter’s shrimp scampi. I made my salmon more flavor with additional requested sauce that comes under the bed of rice

We ate at Bubba Gumps at Santa Monica Pier last night and had an amazing time. Johnny was our server and I would highly recommend requesting to sit in his section. He was polite, helpful and made our experience. We were a large group of 20 (half adults and half kids) from Australia and his attention to our needs and the kids needs was second to none. If we were able to go back to Bubba Gumps we would go back just to have the experience Johnny gave us again.
The service was quick, the food was amazing and Johnny made it so easy to split our bill at the end of the night like it was no problem at all.

First Visit to any Bubba Gump and my main reason to come in was for the Steamed Spiced (Cajun) Shrimp (peel & eat) and it did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly and delicious. I did find it odd that they didn’t serve it with cocktail sauce, I had to request it, and according to the person who brought my food out, you’re supposed to request if you want it. Caesar salad wasn’t good at all. The dressing was extremely vinegary and not tasty at all, I had to choke it down.
I also came in haste, dined in haste, and left in haste all because the garage parking only gives you ONE HOUR FREE parking and the restaurant doesn’t validate to allow you to relax and enjoy your meal and in this type of place it would be nice to enjoy the “experience”.

Enjoyed dinner at Bubba Gump. Our server was very fun and attentive. The peel and eat shrimp was very good. The bang bang shrimp were ok but more bleeding than shrimp. I had the fish and chips and while I’ve definitely had better fish and chips, it was ok. Fries are nothing special and the coslaw was to dry for my liking. I’m sticking to more shrimp next time

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Doesn’t even begin to explain how great of an experience my family and I had! Our first time ever eating at Bubba Gump Shrip Co. On Santa Monica pier! There was a little bit of a wait, however we were connected immediately via text and given a time for how long our wait for a table would be. To kill time we visited a couple of the stands and shops near by and the time went by rather quickly! We got our text that our table was ready and was seated down stairs by the amazing staff, very friendly and very comforting! We ordered a different variety of food dishes and all very exceptionally satisfying! My husband is a shrimp fanatic and was satisfied with everything we had ordered! The waitress was on top of her game and was very attentive to our table along with many other tables and made our first time experience the absolute best! The prices are a bit high but very well worth it! Shout out to Darian( Dee)! Thank you so much for your bubbly service!

Great family experience! The service here was top notch and the restaurant was clean and entertaining. Definitely worth a return visit. We all enjoyed our meals (Shrimp Po-boys, Seafood Feast Platter, and Fish and Chips) and can’t wait to try some of their other dishes.
For a family of four we paid $145 (not including tip) for our meals and (non-alcoholic) drinks which included refills.
