I’m confused by all the good reviews. The ambiance was nice and the service good but the food was very disappointing. We got an appetizer and four entrees. The seafood appetizer in garlic sauce was tasty and the lamb entree was quite good. But the short ribs were dry and unremarkable. And the two pastas were a huge disappointment. The octopus over the squid ink pasta was tough and chewy. The Croatian sweet pea pasta was very over cooked and did not seem like homemade pasta. The cream sauce had been overcooked so it had separated into a tasteless oil—rookie mistake. Maybe the usual chef was out? Had such high hopes and was surprised at how bad the food was especially for the price.

I’m not sure if he was the manager or the owner of the restaurant, but he greeted us very attentively. The atmosphere is elegant yet informal, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. The menu features Ukrainian dishes, and they also have a cigar menu. It’s definitely a place to return to and enjoy a great meal while smoking a cigar.

DeLukas Restaurant is the restaurant of my culinary dreams. Every bite from the complimentary bread starter to the dessert was to die for. We enjoyed the Burrata and Roasted Tomatoes for our appetizer. For our main dishes we devoured the Chilean Sea Bass and the Lamb Shank. Both dishes were elegantly plated and expertly prepared. My husband’s favorite dessert is Tiramisu. DeLukas served us the most delicious dessert to compliment our meal.
I forgot to take a photo of the Tiramisu. I was so overwhelmed with the food that I didnt think dessert could match the meal. Was I mistaken. The Tiramisu was decadent and complimented by two macaroons.
Thank you DeLukas for a astronomically delish meal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean clean. The restrooms were meticulously clean. As was the bar area.
Last, but certainly not least, our waitstaff personnel was professional, informed, gracious and respectful. Any question we asked, he answered honestly and with enthusiasm. We did ask about the lamb shank preparation and he asked the chef and returned with a smile.

My boyfriend took me here for valentines and everything was phenomenal! I had the red snapper with fettuccine and he had the delukas steak. The steak was cooked perfectly snd the lobster sauce on top was absolutely divine. The chocolate cake at the end was so decadent without being overly sweet. Our server was so kind and attentive.
She recommended a delicious raspberry wine that we loved. We will most definitely be coming back!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — cozy lighting, elegant décor, and the beautiful touch of live piano music that made the evening feel special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our first visit feel like we were longtime regulars.
The menu offered a great variety of choices, and everything sounded tempting. We decided on the spaghetti and the lobster ravioli — both dishes were authentic, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We started with the watermelon skewers, a refreshing and light appetizer, and ended the night with a slice of chocolate cake to go — the perfect sweet note to finish an excellent meal.
The location was easy to find with plenty of parking, and while we sat inside, the outdoor seating area looked just as charming and comfortable.
Highly recommend this spot — great food, great service, and a truly delightful ambiance.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have picked a better place! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was exceptional, and the lamb and veal dishes were absolutely delicious—flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. A perfect first visit, and definitely not our last!

This restaurant was recommended by our friend. We (party of 8) had the opportunity to visit Clearwater just recently, and decide to go for dinner after spending few hours on the beach .
The service was excellent: hospitality,
professionalism, and entertainment – we had it all – which is very rare to have these days.
We had so much fun and we simple loved it!
The food was amazing – from chevapi and home made bread , soups , and variety of meat, fish , pasta to an excellent choice of Croatian wines and liqueurs – we could not had asked for better.

We have visited this restaurant several times in past and if you are in a mood for Croatian/ European food you came to the right place.. Few years ago we have spend vacations in Croatia and the minute you walk into the restaurant,you see amazing pictures right outside the building illustrating Croatian and its beautiful views. My memories came in seconds remembering the last trip to Croatia. Furthermore, the decoration inside is an art, You feel like you walked in to most elegant restaurant in the world. Black grand piano is a nice touch. Saturday nights they have live music there for a dinner time. We ordered Lamp shank and schnitzels. It was so delicious. It was cooked to perfection and again decorative presentation added a nice touch to the plates. Our server Ana was amazing 5 stars for Ana well too low…10 is a minimum. We felt like we were at their home. We will come back again no questions asked . What a pleasant evening. Thank you for doing amazing job and cooking the food that tased better than in Croatia. Thank you Lukas and the stuff.

What a great hidden Jem in Clearwater. Family owned and operated made to order cuisine. This place has so many options Í can’t wait for my next visit!! This place instantly became my favorite restaurant with one visit (too bad I live in Indiana and only get to eat here when on vacation). My father and I decided to eat here on Labor Day. When I first pulled in I was a bit apprehensive since the parking lot was empty (not thinking it was Labor Day and everyone is grilling out) we made a reservation before coming in and despite having no customers the owner stayed open for us personally greeted us and gave us the best service I’ve ever had I eat at fine dining restaurants a lot so I have high standards but this place is special I felt like I was welcomed into his home and was treated like a longtime friend. The food was to die for I’m thoroughly convinced his wife (the cook) is one of the best chef’s out there. If you want great food amazing service and a relaxing atmosphere you found it. Zee, thank you so much for your hospitality I cannot wait to bring my entire family next time we visit.
