Deep Dish is a must-try when in Chicago! This is one of the restaurant that specializes in deep-dish pizza. Their deep fish is flavorful, and perfectly baked with that famous buttery crust. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and it truly lives up to the Chicago pizza reputation. If you want an authentic local experience, this spot should be at your list.

We are big fans of Lous, typically we visit the downtown Naperville location, but this time circumstances dictated we use the carry out location. This was a bad experience, from the very beginning, using the app to order and apply rewards was bad. Getting to the location, my first time here, it was dark and you could barely tell it was open. Once inside, the people were nice, informed me how long of a wait i had. Food came out in that time, i headed home. First, this Pizza was $42, they forgot to include the meat on the pizza, it wss basically bread with a slice of cheese and tomato sauce. It was so bad, 3 people ate 1/4 of it. We went to see a movie and filled up on popcorn. Lous did reach out and provide a partial credit for the ” didn’t get them free” wings. Wings by the way were great. The store manager did call while we were at the movies to address the issue, nice but did not improve the experience. Quality and consistancy is not on the list at Lous, and Lous is off our go to list.

I just want everyone to see the deep dish patty I received from Lou. I was baffled and had to call to make sure that the recipe didn’t change. Spoke with Gregory or is it Greg? who said that they had a manager in training. So if you have a MIT why did you sell me this pathetic $39 pizza? It looks like it’s been sitting out for hours, reheated, left out and the audacity to box this up and sell it to me? I have a problem with a MIT learning on my dollar and giving me something I wouldn’t give my dog. For context, this order was placed 11 days ago. I shared it on the ChicagoFood subreddit — it’s received over 147K views, 165 comments and not a single positive comment about Lou Malnati’s current quality. Very disappointed. Will. Not. Be. Back.

Lou’s pizza is always a winner! Their buttercrust deep dish and thin crust pizza are both amazing! They will cook it to your liking and it is always hot & delicious. It has been a staple in the Chicago area for years! I remember going to the restaurant in Lincolnwood as a kid with my family, now we take all of our out of town guests to the one in the Gold Coast or doing takeout from the Naperville 95th Street location! Highly recommend for great food (salads too) and great service!! FYI, they also have a great reward program.

We went for a lunch with the family. All was good but the service was slow and they did not mentioned that it takes 45 min for a thin crust pizza.

The pizza is very good we had the deep dish pepperoni pizza. The crust was cooked to a crisp with a buttery flavor. Lou malnatis may be a chain but they maintain a standard across the board that others should mimic.

I’ve been eating at Malnatis pizza for many years. Recent quality has seriously diminished with their deep dish pizza. Much less sauce and literally 1/8” of cheese on their “deep dish pizza”. Sad! The butter crust offering was way overcooked on my last 2-3 orders and lack of ingredients forces me to other local options. I had the same experience at the downtown Naperville location. I’ve been a long time client. Sorry to see the company going in this less ingredient direction.

I had an excellent experience with my carry-out order from the Lou Malnati’s in Naperville 95th location. The staff is always friendly and efficient, my order was ready right on time, and everything was packed perfectly. I appreciate the consistent quality and great service.

Mason Moretta might be the greatest pizza cashier since Vince Jackson in ‘98. His skills truly made up for the lackluster pizza. Truly a kind and gentle human being. Deserves a raise in my opinion.
