Newly reopened and absolutely worth the visit! My husband and I ate here this afternoon. He ordered the bacon bleu burger with tots (fried in tallow) and a crystalweisen beer. I ordered the chicken cheeseburger with fries and a limoncello cheesecake for dessert. Not only was it affordable, it had organic homegrown toppings and was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is super cool and the owner and staff were friendly and some of the coolest people we’ve met. DEFINITELY come and support this awesome brewery and restaurant!

We love this place. On a long family trip to Yellowstone, we stopped and stayed in Pocatello for a night. We researched a place to eat that was close and had all the options that the entire family would enjoy. And Portneuf brewing was perfect.
We had a chance to sit out back amongst the train cars, but it was massively hot that night so we came back inside. We ordered a burger, quesadilla, pasta and more. The service was great, super friendly and always asking if we needed more. The entire menu was amazing. Plus pizzas!!
After a long drive, nothing hits the spot better then a ice cold beer. And they offer a bunch of options. The Twisted Stick Amber was my favorite.
We will be back, next time we cross Idaho, Pocatello and Portneuf Valley will be our stop!

Yummy food and drinks, and great service and atmosphere. I absolutely love their sarsparilla! It is so good and comes in a large mug. Lots of variety on the menu. Restaurant is very clean and tables are spaced nicely. The homemade bread items are delicious!

The staff here has always been excellent and last night was no exception. We started with the antipasto tray which was our go-to. I had the bleu bacon burger and it was the best one I’ve had anywhere. My wife had the smoked turkey sandwich on the beer ciabatta bread, which I tried, and enjoyed it as well. She had a sparkling raspberry lemonade, which she was not expecting the sparkling part, but really enjoyed it. I also had the Portneuf Porter with my meal and had to take a growler home with me. Definitely a 5-star experience for us.

In my mind, a brew-pub is a great place for a fresh beer and a greasy burger. Imagine my surprise when the menu is absent of all burgers. I ended up with a burrito instead, and… it was fantastic! Glad the owners make what they are good at making. I visited on a Thursday night, so they may not have been expecting quite so many people – there was only one server and about 30 people in the place. This young girl did an amazing job. I’ve had worse service from one serving only 3 tables, and she was taking care of at least 7. I didn’t catch her name, but she rocks. Please give her a raise! Oh, and the craft beer on tap was really good. Thanks Portneuf for the great meal experience!

We needed a pit stop before making the rest of our trip home and we are glad we stopped here.
The menu has a little bit of everything, they have a full bar and alcohol menu and the best part is all the drink names are hilarious. We ended up with the chicken gyro and the chicken provolone sandwich – both were awesome portions we weren’t expecting!!! The fries also had a seasoning that was so good, you didn’t need sauce (which I rarely say this). Our server JV was great too – attentive, funny and great at helping with the menu.
Would definitely stop here next time in town.

Loved the place. Great food and atmosphere. The beers are tasty and great to try. I ordered the macho nacho with the jalapeño. Watch out because it is very spicy! Very good.
Recommend trying the flight of beers for $10. They were labeled and gave you a good idea of what they offer. Service was outstanding.

Portneuf offers 10 original brew’s on tap. It is a diverse range of beer! Our favorite was the Summer Breeze IPA.
The food was excellent, I loved the Manhattan Seafood Soup and the Angel Hair Pasta Saute with Shrimp, Yummy! The building restoration is nicely done and the hostess is awesome! The waitress/bartender was great too.
I highly recommend eating here!
