In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. Drive thru was snippy and had very little patience. Didn’t care to even look at me when I went up to the window, ran my card and then handed me my order without a word at all. I FOUND A SAUCE BOTTLE CAP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BURRITO. If they don’t care to catch that then I’m sure they aren’t washing hands, etc.

Took 15 minutes to get my order at dine in because they were to worried about the drive thru. Then when I got my order it was incorrect and had a corner of a plastic container bag inside one of my items. Not coming back

If you’re a delivery driver working dinner shift, avoid this place like the plague. I drove 15 minutes to go pick up an order. There were no customers in the drive thru and only a couple customers inside, yet I waited 30 minutes and still never got my order. That’s 45 minutes they had to prepare 6 burritos and 6 tacos. I don’t know if the employees or just lazy or understaffed. Probably both.

First time; food was better than expected. Taco salad could have had more meat and price was a bit high, but it tasted good and everything was fresh.

The food was so good and there was alot of it. They put good amounts of meat, beans, veggies in their food! The workers were all polite and friendly. This is our new spot!

Wanted to give this place a second chance, so I got two party tostadas, absolutely awful. They weren’t in a box like they usually are, the lady at the window hands them to me upside down, then I get home and take them out, they are all squished and soaked in grease. Never getting anything from the Buffalo Gap location again.

Well, I’m just not sure! I’ll swear by the chicken quesadillas but we ordered a few different items this time. We were at the Buffalo Gap Location. Nothing was great but hey…. what can you expect?! My son had a “nacho cheese” sauce enchilada which he demolished but he also eats dirt so I’m not surprised. He found a huge piece of plastic in the “ENCHILADAS” that he used to take jabs at his older brother at the Dinner table…. Boys will be boys. I called and informed them and they said…. They’d let “them” know. Hopefully the “them” they were referring to are customers because I don’t think I would have been as amused as my “5 YEAR OLD” to find a piece of plastic in my “Nacholada” or whatever the hell it was.
