Classic Italian dishes, such as spaghetti with meatballs & ravioli, served in comfortable environs.

I had a very enjoyable visit to Oggi Trattoria. I tried the Caesar salad and the Pasta alla Vodka — the pasta featured salami (though I did not really taste it) in a creamy tomato and vodka sauce and was flavorful and satisfying. For dessert, the key lime pie was a refreshing finish to the meal.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I visited shortly after they opened, so it was calm and quiet, which made for a relaxing dining experience. Overall, a solid choice with good food, nice service, and a comfortable setting — definitely worth a visit.

came in for the restaurant week lunch menu and was blown away. everything was DELICIOUS – pasta made in house, perfectly al dente, a little chewy, omg so good. flourless chocolate cake was decadent and rich – the perfect end to my meal. the staff/owner was so friendly, so kind, and so personable. while i was eating, someone else came in and he and the owner chatted for a long time – maybe it’s just me but it’s so nice to see real relationships in restaurants, it makes it feel more like a community space where people actually KNOW each other – sure enough, this restaurant has been in the family for 40 years. def recommend – food, atmosphere, vibe was all stellar

We went here for Valentine’s Day and it was great! They had a squid ink pasta as part of their Valentine’s Day menu. I really liked the pasta! It had a nice bouncy texture and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The margarita pizza was okay. Not the best I’ve had. My only other complaint was the service was a bit slow. Overall, it’s a nice local spot to check out!

This is not your typical Italian restaurant, this is cooking art. Food for the families soul. Issac and staff are very welcoming and the service is out of this world. Amazing place, and even better pallet excursion.

Stopped by for dinner on NYE without a reservation and had a fantastic time at the bar! The restaurant has such a welcoming, family-owned vibe, which I absolutely love. It was so lovely to see so many people come in and greet the staff with big hugs. It really felt like a cozy, neighborhood spot.
I had been here once before and thought the food was just okay, but I’m so glad we gave it another try because it was amazing this time! The pasta, chicken, and meatballs were outstanding, and the burrata was delicious. Plus, the espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Just had another fantastic dinner there. Five of us tried a couple of appetizers (Calamari and sausage & peppers) and thoroughly enjoyed them. For dinner, we had the chicken Parmigiana, chicken vesuvio, and several pastas. They were all fabulous!
Isaac made us some tasty cocktails and we also enjoyed a couple of different bottles from their interesting but reasonably priced wine list.
Overall, a great family owned place!

Oggis is by far the Best restaurant in Chicago. The food is made with love and so much flavor! It’s family owned and they will make you feel right at home. The service is incredible and exceeds my expectations. Lucy did an amazing job recommending their best dishes, (which is all of them), wine to pair with the food, and dessert. Thank you for such a wonderful all around experience. I can’t wait to be back. I love you Oggi!

This is a great Italian joint in a new location. Food was great and people were so hospitable( I loved the lemon chicken… and pasta with vodka sauce).
My only complaint is that we were seated directly looking at the back of the bar. See the photo? Yuck. Who wants to see the dirty dishes and cleaners on the floor? This could be easily improved with a curtain or addition to the bar so as to disguise this area from the customers. Will definitely return and ask to be seated in the front.
