I stop by Cali Brews whenever I’m traveling through Delano, which is usually about once a month, and what I like most is that this place can match two completely different moods depending on the time of day. The food is solid, the service is friendly, and the staff has always made sure my order comes out right.
The atmosphere really works to both of my senses. If I’m in the mood for a lively sports-bar vibe with energy, noise, and people having a good time, this place absolutely delivers during peak hours. It’s fun, upbeat, and a good spot to unwind when I’m passing through.
But if I want something calmer, it can be surprisingly quiet during off-hours. Earlier in the day or outside the weekend rush, the place feels relaxed and comfortable, and it’s easy to sit down, enjoy your meal, and actually hear your conversation.
Overall, Cali Brews is a versatile stop for me. Whether I want a high-energy atmosphere or a low-key meal, I just pick the right time of day and it hits the spot either way.

This was a nice find. I’m surprised it wasnt busy on a Saturday evening. The food is really good and not overpriced. They give you flour tortillas and a side of butter in lieu of “chips and salsa” nice twist and totally gave me flashbacks to being in grandma’s kitchen. The flour tortillas seem to be made from scratch – love that!
We had the molcajete (really good, full of flavor), tampiquena, toluqueno and pescado frito. Everything was good. The only thing I would ask for different is the carne asada being more on the medium side and not well done. Love that they carry jarritos. Overall a good Mexican sit down restaurant – glad we found a solid option and will definitely be back.

1st timer, was excited this was even in Delano. Sat down and was greeted immediately, but then something ran by me… turns out there were two toddlers running around the whole place, acted like they own the place, oh wait their parents do. Loud music, kids screaming , parents screaming at the kids ….. OMFG . Ordered my burger, was undercooked but looked burnt on the outside. Cook was using to high a heat. Other than that … Glad they cant mess up a Whiskey and coke.

Went in right when it was open. The place was clean and very quiet. I ordered 2 Cali burgers. One came out rare while the other was medium-well. They replaced the burger with a new one. If/ when I do come back , I’ll make sure to ask for well done on the patty. I think the burger and fries are fairly priced. The service was great.

First off I’m so disappointed. I am a wing lover but this place was so off point. To start we had two beer but was told that there would be a wait because the draft machine had a malfunction and would take a while. 10min after we are just receiving our beer. And it was the most distasteful and flat beer I Had in my entire life. And also to add the place was completely empty other than what looked like regulars here. Waitress was Completely ignoring us to change our drafts. Wings were decent I have to give them that. If you’re looking to watch a sport and drink just go to LR pizza. Way more worth it.

The food was amazing, service was slow but friendly. Wish our waitress checked in with us more. The noise was HORRIFIC!! The TVs were blasting so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. There was no reason for them to be so loud, I understand it’s a sports bar, but it was so loud you couldn’t speak to anyone at your table. We asked the waitress to lower the volume, they did for less than 2 min and back up. We ultimately left and went elsewhere.

My husband and I recently went to the new Cali Brew in Delano to try it out. We met the bar manager Santana, he was awesome and so was the staff. My husband ordered I believe it was the Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was recommended by Santana, it was amazing! I had the pastrami which was equally amazing. The beer was cold, the staff were great, the atmosphere was great, clean restrooms. They are also eventually going to put some games out on the patio when the weather is nicer, I can’t wait to hang out here more! If I could, I would give a higher rating!
