Today was our first time here and it was an amazing experience. The food, ambience and Mia’s great service made this evening so great. Highly recommend! Tiradito de Atun was recommended by Mia and it was delicious!! She also recommended the San Gin and that was amazing. I also had an Amaretto Sour and it is legit one of the best ones I have had in Mexico. This is a truly unique culinary adventure that I will do again! Come check it out!

If you’re looking for a place in Torreón that goes beyond just a good steak and delivers a complete culinary experience, Mochomos should be at the top of your list.
From the moment you sit down, you’re greeted with bold flavors, creative presentations, and a menu that celebrates the best of Sonoran cuisine with a gourmet twist. It’s not just about grilled meat here — it’s about craftsmanship on the plate.

I was recommended this restaurant, but honestly, it left me with a very bad impression. The waiter suggested I try the “carne en su jugo”, and it was a huge disappointment — the dish looked and tasted like dog food, with no presentation or flavor.
When the plate arrived, I honestly thought it was a joke. The side of potatoes looked and tasted like bagged chips, nothing special at all.
Service was just average, and when it came time to pay, the person in charge suggested I leave a 15% tip, but I only left 10% since the service didn’t deserve more.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Fortunately, the next day my coworkers took me to another restaurant nearby called Steak Palenque, and that one is 100% recommended — great service, amazing flavor, and a completely different experience.

I was skeptical with all the 5-star reviews thinking maybe they offer a free dessert or something, but this place was truly incredible! Everything we ordered was so delicious. I had a salad and the Barbacoa tacos and both were outstanding. My husband had the tortilla soup and sirloin tacos and they were excellent. The salsas, lemonade and my ice cream pie dessert rounded out the best meal! Oh, and the service was top-notch. Our only complaint was the man smoking a cigar next to us- we did not know there was smoking in the restaurant and was later told there is a non-smoking section. Wish they would have told us that when they seated us.

This is by far one of the most amazing restaurants to eat in Torreon Coahuila, from the minute you step in the door you are greeted with enthusiasm and class! We were there for lunch on Dec. 24th the atmosphere is elegant and inviting. The manager Jacobo and our waiter Uziel treated us like royalty! They explained why the named of the restaurant and guided us to choose some of the best entrees on the menu. Custumer service was amazing! The wine they recommended to pair my steak was exactly what I was wishing for. I will go back again and I am definitely recommending this place to anyone that wants to eat great food and have a fun time with friends or family.
Thank you so much to everyone that served us today!

I was invited to a private event that acted as a soft opening. The place looks amazing, the decor in shades of beige and browns gives the place a nice ambiance. The bar is located in an island right in the center of the place so you can see how the mixologists make all the specialty drinks. The same happens with the grilling areas. They have a special fridge for meat aging, the first cuts will be available in around 21 days.
The food was really good, the tasting menu included several appetizers and main dishes. The rib eye was really well cooked.
The bar was well stocked and the mixologists did a great job.
Highly recommended.

This place is pretty elegant with table cloths and all sorts of tableware. Anyways, I can’t say enough about the food. I sampled 4 different appetizers and they were all good. We had the guacamole. Ribeye chicharrones (they weren’t as crispy as I would have liked), the seared tuna and the smoked pork cheek. My favorite was the pork cheek. I also really liked the meaty tortilla chips and salsa. For my meal I had fish over a risotto. The fish was excellent as was the risotto. The risotto really impressed me because a lot of places can’t get it right (including Italian restaurants), but this place did a fantastic job. The fish name was unfamiliar, but it was explained to me it was considered the best tasting fish in the Sea of Cortez, and it didn’t disappoint. Many people at our table ordered steak which is the specialty of the house. I’m not a meat fan so I didn’t try any other than the ribeye chicharones with nice hand made tortillas and guacamole. So good! The desserts were phenomenal. I sampled four different desserts. The only one that did not appeal was the pastel de elote. It did not taste like a dessert. The other desserts were pretty decadent and lucious. What ruins the ambiance and atmosphere is the damn TV and the busy dial tone from the bar phone. Really!?! Such a lovely place with fantastic food only to have it ruined by visual distractions and a busy dial tone. The service was impeccable and attentive. It is a pricey spot, but a good place for an anniversary, date night, or even a birthday party. One of the things that impressed me was that they had free day care for small children which helps with antsy kids.

I asked the waiter if the tuna was fresh or had been frozen. He said it was fresh, but when I tasted it, it was a bit tough and had a lot of sinew. I don’t know if it was because it was frozen or what kind of tuna it was.

Ok but you can tell they just opened.
Came here a few days after the opened and it was pretty evident that they were still putting their act together.
The place is beautiful, what you would come to expect from this restaurant group although I do have to say the host staff was perhaps a bit impolite, maybe even pompous?
Food was great overall, expensive for a place like Torreon but you get good quality food and if you are into northeastern Mexican food this is a great option.
Atmosphere in general was fantastic, they spared no expense in putting this place together, I came here for lunch but I can see this place being super lively for dinner on a weekend.
Prices again are a bit high but you should know that coming in. My only complaint perhaps is that our waiter was very insistent on us getting a more expensive meat cut when we had already made up our minds and had ordered more than enough food.
Overall a pretty good place for a night out or a special ocation. My photos are pretty bad and don’t do it justice.
