We eat here regularly and the food is always delicious, staff always friendly. Most recently, we ordered several food trays for a small family get together for my birthday. It was perfection from the start. Our pick up time was at 11.30am. Food was ready at exactly that time. It was packages and labeled so neatlt, no spills, or anything. The food was exceptionally delicious. Price point is so reasonable. Got a lot of compiments from our family that all the food we ordered, like each and everyone of them, is delicious! And you know how hard it is sometimes to please the Titas! 100/10!!!

It’s been a few months since we have frequented Familya Kusina. Our experiences prior to this visit have always been wonderful, from the food to the service. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for today. My daughters and I ordered two tapsilog dishes as well as the porksilog and a couple other items. The garlic rice that came with all our dishes as well as the lumpias (gulay and shanghai) were cold to the touch, barely even warm. We always order the same food and the quality today was subpar at best, not at all what we have been used to getting from here. Not sure if the staff or owners have changed, but the smiling and attentive faces we were used to was nowhere to be seen today. Aside from the quality of the food, I noticed a discrepancy after I had paid the bill and asked for a copy of the receipt. The three main dishes we ordered was supposed to be $15 each as it stated on the menu. The two tapsilog dishes were upcharged $0.60 each and the one porksilog dish were upcharged $2.68. When I inquired about the prices, I was informed that taxes were included in the pricing but I showed her that I was also charged additional taxes at the bottom of the receipt. She then proceeded to say, that the menu was not updated with the correct prices. This experience left a very sour taste for us. This restaurant used to be a treat for my girls and I but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Delicious Authentic Filipino Cuisine
Our experience was wonderful here! We ordered the Lumpia Shanghai, Ube Taro Boba Tea, Special Pansit Mix & Halo Halo Ice Cream. The lumpia was crispy & hit the spot. The boba tea was a nice blend of ube & taro flavors. The Special Pansit Mix was very flavorful & offered an extremely generous portion that could have fed my whole family. It was our first time trying Halo Halo & we will be ordering it again on our next visit.
The atmosphere was nice & calming with some melodic music playing in the background. The waitress was very attentive & kind. The whole restaurant was clean & in great shape. Lastly, we really enjoyed the mini grocery store. We brought back an Ube Cluster for our family & everyone loved it!
Overall a great experience, we will be back soon!

Went here over the weekend and had a blast! The owners are top notch at seeking feedback, The “Do it all” very Professional Host with the glasses and apparently a smooth Jumpshot gave me and my family a Great experience. There are plenty of Filipino comfort snacks and groceries which can be purchased in the restaurant. I can’t say enough about the way they make you feel like part of the family, kudos to the entire staff. ❤️

Great food. Great service. We were really fortunate to have stumbled upon the place.
Their delicious food is cooked-to-order and comes with a bowl of rice already. The portions are generous and didn’t take long to arrive.
The signage outside still says Bahay Kubo, but inside is the big Familya Kusina sign. The place is neat and bright. I liked the display of baked goods that they are selling too – packed ready to-go.
Highly recommend their halo-halo for dessert.

Visited Familya Kusina after reading good reviews about it when I searched Filipino restaurants near my area. I was excited to try since reviews were great.
We ordered lumpia for appetizer and it was great, 2 for $5. I ordered Chicken Inasal and my husband ordered Chicken Barbeque, both were served with garlic rice and on sizzling plates. Presentation was great but I did not find the Chicken Inasal flavorful enough and chicken seemed very dry. The Chicken Barbeque was nicely prepared too but seemed lacking flavor as well. Like the chicken was not marinated long enough but good thing there was extra BBQ sauce given which added flavor.
We ordered Halo- halo for dessert. Nicely served, tasted good but only have limited ingredients-2 kinds of beans, coconut meat strands, nata de coco, rice crispies and ube ice cream.

Homey feel with food made to order. The wait per dishes was worth it. I could tell that the entrees were meticulously crafted. The lumpia was perfectly crispy. My entree of sweet spaghetti enticed my taste buds. The pancit was perfect texture. I recommend this location.
