I couldn’t wait to finally get my hands on Dick’s wiener. My wife rolled her eyes, but I told her I had high hopes for Dick’s and man… he delivered. A little pricey, sure, but once Dick’s wiener hit my mouth, I forgot all about the cost. It was warm, loaded, and absolutely satisfying.
The fries didn’t do much for me personally, but my wife couldn’t get enough. She was a huge fan of Dick’s wiener too. She didn’t hold back either. Went all the way with it and enjoyed every bite. No regrets.
And let me just say, the people handling Dick’s wieners were incredibly friendly and efficient. They know exactly what they’re doing over there.
All in all, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be going back for more of Dick and his staff 🙂

Must stop if you are in the area. Tons of history inside. Service was great and the dogs were good. No complaints, cash only!

It’s been years since I ate here at Dicks Hotdog. It was delicious! I’ll make a point to come back more often.

You walk in and get the home type feeling. Soon as we sat a waitress was there for our drink order. The waitress was very sweet and kind. We both got the hot dogs. Very juicy and chili was delicious. Only issue was the salt shacker. I had to take top off and clean inside the cap to be able to use it. I would definitely come again! Also cash or check only. There is a ATM machine inside.

Came in and ordered 8 dogs to go. 25 bucks, cash only. ATM in house so they can charge you 3% to get the cash to pay. Took them over 20 minutes for 8 dogs. No where to sit while you wait for the order but they had a lot of stuff on the wall so that was cool I guess.

Dick’s is one of the most consistent places I’ve ever been to. I went to college in Wilson 01-05 and it’s still just as good of a place to get a hotdog. The staff is always extremely friendly too. Bring cash because that’s all they accept. Worth the detour if you’re close to Wilson and hungry.

A Wilson classic! We stopped by for a quick weekday lunch and enjoyed two freshly prepared hotdogs with chili and mustard (and one with slaw). Both served with French fries. Prices are more than reasonable. The atmosphere is wonderful with lots of vintage photos on the wall. The staff were wonderful and friendly, very accommodating. We were very glad to get to eat there and will be sure to stop there again the next time we are in Wilson.

Best hot dogs imaginable. A local legend, spanning over a century of deliciousness. Highly recommend for lovers of tube steaks!

Millions served! Meh! For a place that is suppose to be known for their hot dogs I’m not sure why. I paid $12 for 4 hot dogs and a soda. It’s not like the hot dogs are made on site in fact their cheese dog has the individually wrapped process cheese on it, ugh. Their chili is dry and requires ketchup in order to choke it down. The atmosphere is ok knowing it’s a local dive since 1921. It’s not worth your time stopping in and certainly not worth the money.
