Enjoyed very tasty Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken with garlic Naan. The Tikka Masala was medium spicy which was perfect, a nice warm heat. Portions were generous. Restaurant is modern and very clean. Restroom was spotless. Friendly service and great value.

I saw the reviews and decided to try this place. For one parking was difficult because its in a prime area. It was open late so that is good. I decided to try the butter chicken with nan and rice as my usual go to. I explicitly asked for butter chicken flavor but NOT spicy. Not spicy and medium. I got the dish and it looked great as you see in the pictures but it was just raw spice. Nowhere near not spicy or medium. Id say the spice level was at 8/10. Whereas what I asked for was probably a 3-5/10 at most. It was very spicy and actually thats all it tasted like. The chicken chunks were just alright and there wasn’t any depth or butter flavoring at all. I asked for a remake and they told me this is the least spicy they can do. They probably just have a base prepared and just toss chicken in it. Lazy and not good at all and actually bad for those that don’t do such spice. I do not recommend this place after such an experience.

I visited Hyderabad Indian Grill North Loop during their launch specials and tried the Chicken Delight Platter. The platter was a great value with a nice variety of chicken items, all cooked well and served hot. The flavors were bold and authentic, and the portion size was generous for the price. The presentation was appealing, and it felt like a perfect way to sample different chicken dishes in one order. The staff were attentive, explained the platter items clearly, and made the whole experience feel special for the launch. I would definitely recommend the Chicken Delight Platter to anyone visiting during the launch specials.

Don’t know what this is, but is sure isnt josh rogan. I thought the clumpy yogurt was a fluke when I got it last year. Tried giving this place another chance. NOPE, its still curdled, rubbery and also gritty at the same time. And super oily? The taste is fine, DOESN’T taste like josh rogan at all tho, and that yogurt… Maybe pick something else from their menu

Hyderabad Indian Grill in North Loop is one of the best Indian spots I’ve been to in Minneapolis. I tried the butter chicken, chicken 65, and chicken tikka masala, and all three dishes were excellent. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor, with tender pieces of chicken that went great with naan and rice. The chicken 65 had a crispy texture with a nice spicy kick, full of south Indian flavor without being too oily. The chicken tikka masala had a deep, smoky tomato gravy with well-marinated chicken that was cooked just right. Service was friendly, the food came out hot and fast, and the overall atmosphere was casual and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend Hyderabad Indian Grill North Loop to anyone craving flavorful Indian food in the city.

Disappointing experience. The food presentation was very plain and not authentic to Hyderabadi style—biryani wasn’t served in the pot or with the rich flavors you’d expect. The chicken dish was bland and not enjoyable at all. Service was unprofessional, with staff looking rushed and not dressed for a restaurant setting. Atmosphere didn’t reflect Indian culture.

Prices were also high ($34 for one) compared to the quality offered. Clean place, but overall not worth it. I will not be coming back.

It was very quiet inside, so they could use some music, but it was very clean and the food was outstanding. Afternoon out to lunch with my 10 yr old that’s trying to be a little more adventurous..We loved the chicken lollipops and the curry we had. Highly recommend.

Just walking into this restaurant you first notice the delicious smell! This was my first Indian food experience. I got the butter chicken (spice level 1 because I’m a wimp) and some naan. It was SO delicious! Very flavorful and a flavor I hadn’t experienced before. My boyfriend likes spice so he ordered his at a level 4. He also loved it! Our server was also really polite and kind! We will definitely be back!

They have the full section for vegan menu unlike lot of Indian restaurants. I had the fried rice here and it tastes really good. I recommend this place for those who want to try vegan indian food

$5 for 1 garlic naan lol – I would not even insult a naan by calling this thing a naan – the Naan looks like a big tortilla with hints of garlic and cilantro

This is a good spot for non Indians as they’ll have nothing else to compare with

$27+ tax for 1 order of butter chicken with two garlic naan – at most: 8 cubes of chicken at most

I’m not paying, my company is, but I am calling out the tactics for future restaurant goers.
