Was on our way to Ivy Pho in Drayton Valley but found an Ivy Pho in Calmar so decided to try it out here. Could tell it was a family run restaurant with wife husband and their two year old daughter. Ordered the large special pho with brisket flank steak tendon and tripe. The portions were huge! Tendon was soft and melt in your mouth consistency. Pho was flavorful but not salty. I ate everything but left some broth because I was really full My wife ordered the regular size pho and she was full. You can order with extra meat for $4 but honestly there’s so much you don’t need extra meat. Been looking for a decent pho place in Edmonton lbut it’s been tough. Calmar is about 45 mins from our place. Not too far away if we want a pho fix. Will definitely come here again!

When they first opened they had good quality ingredients- fresh, good quality meat… over the last 6 months the food is laden with old vegetables( if you order the soup) and beef that is so tough and old you can’t even chew it. Go grab the oldest piece if meat from the bottom of your freezer that you were considering giving to the dog . .. THAT is 100% better than the crap grade meat they have you pay top dollar for now. Just once I wish restaurants would take pride in the ingredients they serve to thier customers . That keeps them coming back

Tried to place an order over the phone for a Sub sandwich at 5:44pm, they asked for my phone number and said they would call to let me know when its ready (told me 10mins). I didnt end up hearing anything from them until 7:17pm, AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES LATER. I just ended up eating else where

Absolutely delicious!!! We had the deep fried wontons, spring rolls and lettuce wraps for starters. Then we each tried a different vermicelli bowl. The beef was so tender and tasty I couldn’t help myself and was loudly saying YumYum, with each bite. Thankfully the rest of the table didn’t mind. The meatballs were a burst of flavour and I’m already wishing I’d thought to get a take home order !! Can’t wait to go back already!!

The food here is amazing! The pho is rich and flavorful, and the shrimp rolls are fresh and delicious. Everything tasted authentic and was served quickly. Highly recommend for anyone craving great Viet cuisine.

The beef brisket, meatballs noodle soup was delicious. Shrimp salad rolls with peanut sauce were good. Subs are delish too. You must try the taro bubble tea! I would definitely recommend.

So much positivity on Facebook made us pick up from Devon. I was hoping that the sub would have die-gone radish. I’m glad that I had hoison sauce at home. The vermicelli pork bowl was plentiful. Sadly the meat was left on the plate. The shrimp was hard rubber, the meatball was good. All the pork was sliced fat and strips of rubber. We won’t waste our money again. I have my own teeth, but I would not feed that meat to a dog.
