the service and atmosphere are average. Its well kept and clean. No Christmas deals really. So the store part was disappointing.
But…. The Cafe was really good. And the Lobster BLT was awesome. Its wicked big. And enough for 2 people. I didnt pay attention to the price. But I think it was kind of expensive. But with the amount of Lobster. It was definitely worth it.

I felt kind of lost when I first arrived at this place because there wasn’t any obvious location to enter for breakfast so I chose the most obvious location and it wasn’t the place. So I listened to quite a few people talking and followed the noise and found the location.

The food is your typical breakfast fare for a cafe with single items to grab and go but I choose the country breakfast with your choice of two eggs and protein with hash browns and again your choice of bread.

I chose two eggs over easy with a sausage patty and an everything begal.

The surprise of the meal was the wild blueberry jam that was placed with my food. Very good and easily an option to buy it afterwards.

The place seemed very clean, with large portraits of various items to suit the place well. Very bright and inviting

There is also space outside, if the weather permits, to eat and set up your laptop to whatever your hearts desire.

I really enjoyed my food and atmosphere with the only downside being where the actual location is to enter and eat.

Final bill 23.00

I ordered a grilled cheese on gluten free bread because I have celiac disease. I ordered and waited at least 45 minutes to get 3 cold slices of cheese on wet bread. I went to the server and asked politely if they could remake it for me. I went to my seat and waited. I could see the chef laughing in the back about my order, not even 2 minutes later she walks out with the same meal and throws it on the table. This is a huge embarrassment for this company because they do make incredible food, it’s just the people working there that need to be changed with real chefs. I was extreamly excited to eat something gluten free because it’s so difficult to find anything good that’s gluten free, so this is a huge let down and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. 0.5 stars out of 5. Something NEEDS to change

Great shop with items that help you out in the kitchen. Love the jams, crackers, glassware. There’s a great cafe there – eating inside and outside in good weather. The gardens are stunning! I will add more photos as I find them. I visit everytime I am in the area.

The seven layer chocolate cake, lobster BLT, Ham fig and Brie panini, and tuna melt were delicious. It was busy so there was a bit of a wait but the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was worth the wait.

Stopped by the Stonewall kitchen on a rainy Saturday morning. I had a breakfast sandwich which was excellent coffee and a blueberry muffin. Nice friendly service which is a rarity these days.

We love Stonewall Kitchen. This is the first time that we have eaten at the Stonewall Kitchen Cafe in York. Everyone’s food around us looked delicious.
We were served our sandwiches. Jilly had the Italian sandwich, which was good. I had the Turkey Panini. After taking one bite, I looked at Jill and said I think they forgot to put the Turkey in my sandwich. I opened the sandwich, and as you can see in the pictures, there is barely any Turkey on the sandwich. It was extremely busy, so I did not take it back to the counter.

We will give the cafe another try next time we are in the area. Hopefully, this was a rare occurrence, and the next Turkey Panini I get will have the appropriate amount of Turkey on it.

Fantastic sandwiches and fries and cookies and ketchup, etc. I love their food because it always tastes so homey and that homemade ketchup is just phenomenal. I don’t get to come here often so it’s a special treat when I’m able to… if only I lived closer!!
