Food was very tasty, veggie Deluxe pizza is very good I tried the chicken parmigiana and it was very tasty the minestrone soup is very good as well.
Plenty of parking when we’ve been there around 3pm.
Note: We happened to be there on another different day… they were having a private party and was very noisy and we were not able to enjoy our meals so best to go when it’s quite and able to enjoy your tasty meal.

Delicious! Atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable from the lighting to the booths. The service was kind and attentive. Menu was robust and lots of options for wine. We had linguini seafood, calamari fritte for appetizers soup and a salad. Amazing! The flavor was well developed in all the dishes. Highly recommend.

Tonight, we decided to try Di Leone’s Italian Restaurant. It’s a nice restaurant with plenty of seating. It’s nicely decorated. The staff members were friendly, outgoing, and very helpful.
The food was good and flavorful. The portions were large. We ordered two appetizers and two main dishes. I will admit the prices were a little high compared to some places in Little Italy in Downtown San Diego but the food was tasty and you don’t have to look for parking like you do in little Italy.
Overall, we had a nice experience with delicious food.
What we ordered
1. Bruschetta
Toasted garlic bread topped with diced tomatoes, basil and olive oil
2. Garlic Bread topped with Melted Cheese
3. Chicken Piccata
Boneless chicken breast sautéed in an egg batter with lemon and white wine sauce topped with mushrooms and capers
4. Eggplant Parmigiana
Baked in marinara sauce topped with melted cheese, served with spaghetti

We have been coming to Di Leone’s and it is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Their food is authentic and delicious. The service is always great. You can catch the owners and their family there all the time. Great place for dinner with the family. We go all the time and it never disappoints.

First time here, using a coupon from CLIPP magazine which was a great deal: $57 for any two entrees, garlic bread, soup or salad, and a carafe of house wine. Saved over $41 off the menu prices. Ordered Shrimp Scampi and Veal Picatta. Scampi was excellent, just the right amount of seasonings and a generous portion. Picatta had a LOT of capers, making it way too salty for my taste and was quite soupy. I didn’t expect my veal to be drowning in salty soup. Garlic bread was soft and light, not crunchy like you find in some places. I like it, my wife prefers crunch. Chicken Tortellini and Minestrone soups were both very good. Side of spaghetti with marinara wasn’t expected, but was quite good as a side dish. Parmesan cheese was served dry in a shaker, not ground from a block of real cheese. Not many diners tonight, but service was quite slow anyway. Staff seemed more interested in their personal conversations than attending to us. Will return to try other dishes if we get another coupon deal, but would not pay full price for these meals.

This was our first time here. We are visiting from Texas and wanted something good. My son’s girlfriend recommended it. This place did not disappoint and has something for everyone. Our waitress Bri was fantastic and very attentive. Thank you! I got a few pics. The appetizers and salada aren’t pictured, but they were delicious as well.

We love it here. I’m a displaced New Yorker and I feel like I’m home again when we go here. Your new wine bar looks amazing. Let us know when you’re having a wine tasting event. We’re all in.

I’ve been checking out quite a few Italian restaurants recently and this is probably one of my favorite traditional spots. They serve chianti and a few other wines by the carafe. They also offer early bird specials til 6pm which include soup or salad and garlic bread. I had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce with the minestrone soup. The soup is very flavorful. The meat sauce and the garlic bread were excellent as well. The service was attentive and the restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in east county.

Although we have been customers for years, our family had never before eaten pizza on Christmas Eve. I believe that doing so will now become a tradition. I ordered online, and my husband and I picked up the pizza at 6:00. Although the restaurant was packed, the staff was efficient and very pleasant. I hope that they are well paid for working Christmas Eve.
