Had a wonderful double date night and the amazing food and wonderful service just added to the night of friendship.
Braised short rib yes please so tender and flavorful, key lime pie absolutely a must. The plating was art. Definitely a must go to restaurant and its a perk to support local.

Lovely, gem of a place. Although we’ve driven by hundreds of times, this was our first visit. A dinner out with friends and it happened to be Tuesday when then have a senior’s special which is a lower price however, it turns out that the portion is also smaller. This felt a bit misleading as we weren’t aware of this until after we ordered.
The food was delicious. We tried the sirloin – cooked to perfection as was the salmon and schnitzel.
We celebrated with featured mocktalis and regular beer on tap. The desserts were also delicious yet, again, very small portions for $11.00 each.
Service = 5 Star, Atmosphere = 5 Star.
I gave an overall 4 Star because of the smaller portions on the seniors “discount “.

We had a lovely brunch meal. It was 6 of us and my husband and I had the short rib poutine, delicious . The others had the duck confit benedicts and salmon benedicts. Everyone loved their meal. Service was great and the location is a beautiful old stile building. I will try to take pictures of the food and location next time. We’ll be back soon!

Great service. Waitress named Cindy was amazing and very knowledgeable. We had shrimp and pork bellies which I loved. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone who wishes to dine in the Edmonton area and feel like they are on a Gordon Ramsey reality show.

Very cute place to dine! We went on a casual date night, it was a great experience. Great Food! I would definitely say the salmon was on the saltier side. However both the fish and chicken dishes were juicy and tender. Definitely on the pricier side and you will have to wait for a bit as the meals took a while to come out.

after a very average experience on new years eve at a restaurant i won’t name I was tasked by the group to plan teh next couples night out. I suggested the 4 couples meet at Riverbank on Valentines Day. I had been there before the other 7 including my lady had not yet experienced
Well right from get go each and everyone had an amazing experience and treated with a meal that will be remembered for a long time . Quite often thru the evening I would hear someone at the table say ” great job recommending this place !! ” Appetizers were amazing and teh Beef Wellington was superb. I think the Riverbank made 7 new customers ( i’m already a regular ) . Dan you and your staff treated us 1st class and was great to see you at the table slicing up our beef for the main entree. Well worth the trip to St Albert

Incredible experience at Riverbank Bistro! We had a larger group come for our holiday party and it was fantastic. The service was top notch, very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible! The building is stunning and had such a charming and cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!
