My family were frequent customers of Little Ryan’s until late 2012. When we heard there were new owners we decided to give it a try once again. We were very impressed! It was refreshing to have honest-to-goodness pizza rahter than the cardboard served at Cesar’s or other franchise operations. They have kept the pizza recipes and brought back the service that made this the West Bloomfield landmark it has become to be for so many years. THe subs were not the small 6″ variety you get at Subway either, but 9″ full of meat and toppings. A real value!
Good work folks, and keep it up!

I used to frequent Little Ryan’s when I was in high school (2004-2007 most heavily). At the time, they had the best cheesy bread, great bread sticks, and their chicken/fries were awesome. Hilariously, their pizza has always kind of sucked, but I just learned not to get it. I go back every time I am back in the area, and I’ve noticed that the owners changed last year some time. Ever since the change, I’ve noticed:
PROS:
+The place does seem cleaner.
+I had heard that the staff used to be very overworked / somewhat unhappy, and the new manager seems (?) more easy going.
CONS:
-They got my order wrong all of the three times I’ve gone since the owners changed.
-The cheesy bread has changed, and is just… bread with cheese sprinkled on it now. It used to be bread FULL of cheese, all crispy and crunchy outside and gooey inside… no more.
-The chicken / fries come out soggy, and cost $3.00 more.
Overall, it just isn’t worth going there anymore. It used to be a cheap treat, and now it’s… not really that cheap, and things aren’t prepared properly. I can’t say the old owners were super friendly either, but the new ones aren’t really friendly, and the staff seemed flustered every time I interacted with them. I’m willing to give them another try after a bit of time has passed to see if it was just “growing pains” of switching owners, but that’s about all. Not really something I crave anymore 🙁

were should i start, there food is actully pretty good. BUT it is the most disgusting pizza joint to eat at. none of the employs wash there hands nor wear gloves. also they smoke cigaretts in the kitchen and blow it in the oven where your foods being cooked. also there owner rob is an alcoholic, he drinks all day every day on the job, so when you wonder why he always smells like booze when he delivers your food? yup thats why. my experience there the only good thing i have to say is how nice and wonderful to be around his wife is.

Worst ever… I keep giving this place a chance but the morons that work there can’t get an order right ever. On top of that every pizza I order is either under cooked or burnt and they always want to charge me for it. Come on guys get it together… How are you still in business?
