I was heading into town this past Saturday evening for business and I wanted to try a new spot with the ability of getting in. I tried to go to Frank’s the last time I was in town and I couldn’t because it was so busy.
So I decided between here or Vieux Carre NOLA kitchen and Maxwell House was the choice.
I walked insode and it wasn’t too busy. I found a place to sit (plenty of seating) and the bartender didn’t have me waiting too long since he was handling multiple customers. He was pleasant and friendly and got my order squared away pretty quickly.
Being alone was boring but that’s my problem. I just people watched some people playing a game of pool. The music was playing a few of the TV’s were had some sports games on.
You can see in the pictures what I ate, and the food was good. It was a bit pricey compared to other known establishments that serve burgers but bills have to paid and the owner needs to get his cut…fair.
If you’re looking to visit a neighborhood bar and don’t want to spend any money at a commercial business, then give this place a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

First time at this restaurant despite living in Spokane for years. It was about 9:30pm and not too busy. The food was surprisingly very good. The mozzarella sticks had some of the best cheese pull of any I’ve had in Spokane. The fish was cooked well, very crispy on the outside. Good service and the place was very cool. It was a bit tricky with all the construction outside but I would def come back again.

It does appear that they are very much into beach volleyball. Would be nice if they utilized more of their outdoor area for a more general beer garden
The interior I’m presuming is in some major construction mode. Is it appears to have ripped out a drop ceiling. Not quite sure what is going on with that.
Pool tables will challenge you. Very much un level.
Very diverse customer base.
I did not get the opportunity to try their food as this is my first time there. But since it was a quick 10 minute walk from the house I will be checking them out more

Nice mix of newer bar vibe with classic corner bar feel. Clean and just the right amount of light in the evening. Very good restaurant style foods and appetizers. Very much enjoyed it. Would actually drive from the Spokane Valley to come here to drink and eat.

Just moved to the neighborhood and walked over one night for dinner and beer. Great service and the food was good as well. Ordered the fish and chips which were amazing (so glad they had malt vinegar!), and the meatloaf was just alright, however the entire dish needed to be heated more as the potatoes and meatloaf were only luke-warm at best. We ate it anyway and will give this place another try since it’s so close.

Lively atmosphere. The service was fantastic. I had the Reuben sandwich with JoJos. The sandwich was ok. The 1000 island dressing overpowered the corned beef and sauerkraut. The JoJos were delicious!

We had a good experience here! It looks a little sketch on the outside but inside it’s totally normal. We parked on the street out front but there is limited parking and can be tricky on the road being right there. We had great food and great service. We were so excited about all the gluten free options especially gf mozzarella sticks!! For some reason it was hazy in the restaurant but it didn’t bother us too bad.

So sorry I didn’t post sooner. Came in there before Halloween for my friends daughter’s 21st, even though it was middle of the day a gentleman named Ethan was super friendly and chill. He made sure to take time with us as we ordered and made a delicious orange press that was perfect for the birthday girl! Huge shout out to him!!!
