First off – the food is amazing. Portions are huge, great variety, and the salsa is one of my favorites. Service is lacking (and has been every time I’ve been here) — even on a Friday night when it wasn’t super busy, our server just didn’t come bt to check. We constantly had to request them to come by to get anything we wanted. Ambiance is nice – a large outdoor patio is perfect during the good weather.

I rate Mexican restaurants all over the US. El Ranchero has great food at average prices. The service for us (party of 4) was very slow (from wakiking in the door to getting our food was almost an hour). The restaurant is clean and modern, but doesn’t have much of a Mexican feel (nor Mexican music, if you’re going for an experience). The food waz worth the wait, so glad we went.

I just brought my son here to eat dinner at 7:40, they don’t close until 10 pm but it was a little slow.. We walked in, and the hostess honestly seemed annoyed we were there She sat us in this corner where we sat for 20+ mins while we watched people come in after us and get immediate service. Drinks, appetizers, and taking food orders. The server kept looking over at us, but continued to walk away and never came over.. We ended up walking out and will not be returning. We frequently order togo food but will no longer be doing so.. Completely disrespectful and rude.

This is a nice hidden gem in Peachtree City. Me and my wife have eaten here two other times. Each visit has been wonderful. The place is well maintained. The staff is always warm and welcoming. It is situated in a plaza next to Kroger. As you know, quite a bit of Peachtree City is tucked behind trees. The last lunch we had here was great. For a party of two, the bill was around 40 dollars. It was more than enough. Even had leftovers. Our server was Teresa. She was very attentive and earned her tip. I am actually posting this review because of her wonderful service. She is a great asset to the place.

Chips and salsa are very good. Fajitas and tacos are great. Always putting out consistently good food. Service is always good as well. Renovated and updated within the past year and much nicer interior and more comfortable seating than there used to be.

Thought we found our “place” as we loved the food we were getting. Service was good enough. Heck, we were going more than once a week. (It was a little over the top, I know) Only to bring my kids with us one day. Our server was horrific. Everything we tried to order which was just standard stuff off their menu, was a burden to her. It was bizarre. She put in the order, then completely abandoned our table. Never once checked on us. A runner brought out the food, but when we looked, it was wrong. Couldn’t do anything about it since she never came to check on us. No drinks, nothing. Finally, we asked someone else to go get her, and she still wouldn’t come, so we asked someone else again. By this time,. we were over it. It had turned from our one chance that week to be together with the whole family to be a truly rotten experience. The server finally came over, just to give us our check which she never came back to get, had to take care of that ourselves too. She didn’t apologize or help in any way, just to essentially yell at us and say she was too busy. We ALWAYS consider going somewhere else now.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon, restaurant was recently remodeled! Beautiful!! Comfy booths , beautiful decor. Our server Teresa was very pleasant, and friendly, she took great care of us.
Started off the the salsa and chips. Salsa was sweeter thant what I was used to at Mexican restaurants, still delicious and chips were fresh.
They have a huge menu!! So much to choose from. I decided to keep it simple and ordered 3 hard ground beef tacos and the Texas fajita quesadilla..(large cause I was hungry.. lol) decided not to get the roce and beans and just the salad, w guacamole, Pico, and sour cream. Hubbs got 3 soft ground beef tacos and a side of rice. Food came out pretty quickly. When I say this quesadilla was STUFFED .. IT WAS STUFFED!!! The tacos were good!! Shells were crunchy meat was seasoned. I like the lettuce they used. I feel like they cut it in-house. The quesadilla was delicious.. all the meat was tender and flavorful. I couldn’t eat it all!!! Great for leftovers.

I have lived in Peachtree city for many years, and there is a large selection of Mexican restaurants in this town. At least five or six that I know of. El Ranchero has always been a staple that we keep returning to over and over again. First and foremost quality and consistency of food. Not to mention that you get a lot of bang for your buck. The lunch menu is very affordable and you can tell that the food is freshly made. I like the fact that you can sit outside depending on the time of year, and they have a nice bar area which reminds me of pubs you find in Europe. Can’t go wrong with this place. Love the fact that you can still get a decent meal for a decent price, as were many other restaurants after Covid have hiked up their prices.
