Listen folks, I was told they had the new ownership recently and the soft open was last week. So all old reviews, good or bad, are not valid anymore.
I want to say – it will be a sin to all of us if this new one can’t continue its business. It’s definitely one of the best restaurant experiences for me in a long while. If you have tried D’railed in Idaho falls, the food here is same quality but 1/3 price, plus the owner is so much nicer and humane!
Chicken masala is a must have. The ribeye has a unique smoke flavor. The cheesecake is also humbly amazing. But the best is its atmosphere. Standing there I am like in a museum, time traveling back to 150 years ago. I can imagine the drunken cowboys wandering passing by me.

They intentionally ripped us off. I’d take your business elsewhere. 100% not with it.
Our bill was $67.78 for 2 apps that weren’t even the full apps, as described on the menu. 4 coronas and 2 fireball shots. (Not including tip)
Photos for proof.
Our server was so great.
However, we brought this to the owner’s attention, and he didn’t seem to care. Kept giving us “reasons” why this may have happened. No action taken to make it right. Not even an apology. We won’t be back.

I normally try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but this experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited over two hours for our food, and when it finally arrived, most of it was cold, with the “warm” items barely lukewarm at best. Even the basics were a letdown — the French fries arrived cold, the soup was only lukewarm, and the au jus for the prime rib sandwich was barely warm enough to use. The fish was especially bad — rubbery, tough, and honestly felt like chewing gum.
We had 17 dishes, and instead of bringing things out together, the service felt completely scattered, with items coming out separately and inconsistently. The only thing they were quick about was refilling drinks, which unfortunately was the only part of the service that was smooth.
To be fair, they do have a very cool speakeasy-style basement, which was one of the few highlights of the visit. But the theme alone can’t make up for the long wait times and poor food quality.
For the time we waited and the quality we received, this was a major letdown. I hope they can improve, but based on this visit, I can’t recommend this place.

Save your money and go somewhere else! We have always loved Teton House. It’s always been somewhat spendy, but they have amped up prices. We went for Valentines dinner. They had a menu with only 2 entree options to choose from. Both were a bit odd and the price was the same- you had to share the meal and it was $80+drinks, tax, and tip. The serving sizes were small for 1 person, let alone 2. It was a 4 course meal which sounds like a lot, but everything they brought out was tiny. The meat was mostly bone and fat- I would guess maybe 4oz of actual meat. $100+ in Blackfoot, ID. Service was good, food took a long time, restaurant is beautiful on the inside, food was OK, prices are bad. We felt awful cause we convinced a couple to come with us and talked up the Teton House classics, not the same though unfortunately.

We went to celebrate a friend’s retirement from the military. A couple people ordered the ribeye, I ordered seafood ravioli. All of the food was good. The fried brussel sprout petals are amazing!! They had a special cheesecake pie. I do not recommend the cheesecake pie.

This was the first time we’ve been back since new ownership took over. I want to love this place. But…..I just can’t justify $150 for the same steaks I can get at Tommy Vaughns down the road for a fraction of the price. Service was good. Food wasn’t bad or anything but if you gunna serve thin sysco style steaks charging $42 for it is crazy work. Or $12 for stuffed mushrooms but only send out 3 mushrooms is crazy. Source steaks from snake river farms even if you had to raise prices a little. It would be worth it. I’d pay for a better steak but 1/2 inch thick steaks for $42 I just can’t understand how this place is gunna survive. I want it to. I used to love this place but It went way down hill before ownership change and you either have to serve steaks worth the higher price or get better steaks.

I’ve been here several times. This was the first time since the new owners bought it in Dec 2024. It’s every bit as delicious as it always was. We will continue coming here as it is one of the more upscale places to eat in Blackfoot. The drink menu is amazing, and my favorite menu items are bacon wrapped scallops and the Brussel sprout petals. *chef’s kiss*

We stopped in to have a sit down lunch on a road trip. The fish and chips were awesome. Loved them. The drinks were thoroughly delightful. The server was very knowledgeable on Everything. The atmosphere definitely a Speakeasy old town feel. Wonderful ! We will definitely stop back there when we drive through Blackfoot ID.

Teton House is a great addition to Blackfoot! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. The service was outstanding! My husband and I had a hard time choosing from the menu since everything looks terrific! I ended up getting the ladies ribeye and my husband picked out the fish and chips. Both were delicious! Overall, we enjoyed our meals and are looking forward to returning! BTW, the French Dip sandwich is incredible!

We had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We were seated and then waited over two hours before any food came out. When it finally arrived, everything was cold—not lukewarm, cold.
The only bright spot was our waitress, who was fantastic and did everything she could. None of the issues were her fault; she was polite, attentive, and apologetic the entire time. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience was a disaster.
Between the extremely long wait, the cold food, and the overall lack of coordination from the kitchen, I can’t recommend this place. We won’t be returning.
