I just moved to town so this was my first time visiting this place. I had heard people at work talking about how good the food was so I wanted to try it. The angel wings painting outside is beautiful. I walk in and I felt like I was walking into a jungle. My concern was im highly allergic to all kinds of stuff so here I am taking a chance of walking past a plant I might break out from. Then we try to find a table where we can sit depending on yet again plants. The server got our drinks right away. But he took forever to come take our order. When they brought the chips and salsa out we asked for cheese dip. He’s looked fine. Mine was lumpy. When we got our food. Where they cooked my chicken for my chicken on the beach the didnt drain the grease so there was like a ring of grease around my food. The chips looked like someone stood on them. I dont like to complain but when you pay what we did for food you should be able to eat it.

I always look for the local hometown Mexican restaurants. This one did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. The only comment I would add is of the chicken on the beach could have used a little more cheese, but definitely will be back.

Always a wonderful time at Lupes. The food is delicious and best of all the staff is always welcoming and so friendly. If Lupe is there dont be surprised of he comes and chats for a while or sits next to you for a minute. Highly recommend you try this place!

Good service. Friendly staff. The food was good. The fajitas were delicious and they came out sizzling which was a great sign. The strawberry margarita was pretty good too but was dangerous for drinking too quickly as it gave pretty bad brain freezes. Would definitely get again when visiting Princeton.

Delicious food. I can’t believe I’m saying this but the serving size was too large for me. I just couldn’t fit it all in. I struggled at first wanting to get it all down but it ended up leaving me sore in the end. There was just so much shrimp, steak and chicken with my dish. That will teach me not to try and swallow more than I can handle.

We moved to Princeton last year and we’ve been slowly trying the restaurants around town. The other day we tried Lupe’s. The chicken fajitas were very good. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Great little Mexican restaurant in Princeton, Indiana. It is easy to find using Google Maps as it is right off of U.S. Highway 41. The service here is very fast. The food is good and they have a large menu with most all of your favorites. There is plenty of free parking in their large lot around the building. There chips and salsa are very good as well as their pollo supremas.

Lupe’s has jumped in to the top 5 of Mexican restaurants in the area! This place was fantastic.
First of all, they did an amazing job of renovating and painting the old Ponderosa building, well done.
The menu has many choices, but I had to go with my old standby, the chicken chimichanga. It didn’t disappoint. Generous portion size and plenty of cheese sauce. The best part may have been the guacamole. Many places don’t serve guacamole, or they serve the stuff that comes in a bag. This was the real deal. You could see the chunks of fresh avocado.
The chips were crispy and the salsa was the perfect consistency. Will be back soon!
