Had an amazing meal at Pasta Prego Napa! The salmon pasta was rich and creamy, and the seafood pasta was bursting with fresh flavors. Authentic Italian taste, cozy vibes, and great service and highly recommend! ✨We also enjoyed a very nice Moscato.

Very intimate dining spot just on the outskirts of downtown Napa. I went in craving pasta but the short ribs special looked too good to pass up!

Hair in my pasta. My wife had a hair in her dish. They would only remake the dish and acted quite indifferent about it. Shocking behavior from such a disgusting experience. They even complained to others customers that we were upset! Stupid behavior that is inexcusable. Bad Managers can ruin a restaurant! See the hair in the attached video on bottom edge of the bowl slightly to the left of center. Smh Check out the YouTube video about the experience at We Traveling.

Nice place!
Fettuccine with chicken and prosutto was very tasty and creamy. I like that most pasta with meat by default. Salmon and mashed potatoes were delicious, salmon slightly undercooked (I like it), and crispy outside.

Hidden gem – no reservations are needed. Amazing food! Ordered
* Pasta Diablo
* Risotto (Pork Chop, Pork Tenderloin)
And the food was so yummy!! Definitely want to come back. The service was a bit lacking / understaffed, but the waiters are nice. The food was unparalleled and I’d recommend!

Good food but finding the right dishes to order can be a bit of an adventure especially for tourists. They also serve good wine which shouldn’t be a surprise being in wine district.
Smoked Salmon is great for the first course. Capellini was a bit bland for me. Pizza turned out great as well with fresh ingredients and good cheese.

Delicious food wonderful service! Fettuccine was heavenly, and the baileys Irish cream cheese cake was wonderful as well! We had a reservation and showed up right after opening so no wait.

Great little restaurant – friendly, attentive service and excellent food! I ordered their daily special soup of the day which was cream of asparagus and grilled halibut with lemon and capers and mashed potatoes. They include a nice baguette with olive oil dipping sauce. Nice touch. I need to come back to check out their pasta!

We had the pleasure of coming in for dinner for the first time. Everybody was extremely friendly. The bar tender was attentive and personable. The locals, bar tenders, wine makers, and restaurant owners seem to go there to dine. I’m glad we found this hidden gem.

We visited Pasta Prego for the second time last night after having an incredible first experience this past Friday. The food and service were excellent on our first visit, so we decided to forgo other dinner plans and return, unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The staff even went out of their way to chill my bottle of Chandon for after dinner, which I really appreciated. However, things quickly went downhill after that. Shortly after placing our order, our server went over to the hostess stand and began gossiping about our table in Spanish while glancing in our direction. My partner and I both noticed but decided not to say anything at first. When my partner later asked for more bread in Spanish, hoping to politely inform them that we could hear and understand them, the behavior only seemed to worsen. The server and other staff continued to gossip openly within earshot, making the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. We would even look over in their direction and make eye contact with them when we could hear them talking about this so they would know we could hear them. Before paying, I asked another staff member if I could speak with the owner. I was told she had just left but that they would provide her phone number. A few minutes later, we were given a handwritten note with a number for “Lorena,” and when we received our check, the server pointedly reminded us, in a sassy tone, that her number was also printed at the top of the receipt “so we can be sure to call her.” I’m not sure what prompted this unprofessional behavior toward us, especially after such a great first visit. We genuinely loved Pasta Prego the first time, but this second experience was so disappointing and uncomfortable that we won’t be returning.
