I went in to try the fried pies. I ended up buying over a dozen! Words cannot describe the level of happiness your tastebuds will experience here. The Meat pies (Brisket & Pulled Pork) are ridiculously delicious! I would suggest them with Bar-B-Que sauce & sliced onions on the side. The dessert pies are equally, ridiculously delicious. And the staff is great. They make you feel like family. You’ll be forced to fight the urge to come here every day.

I came by this location today as a first visit and to check out the lunch time menu food items. We ordered the ribs plate, the chicken sandwich, and a family pack which included 1.5 pounds of brisket, sausage, and chicken and three pint sides. I ordered the mac and cheese, baked beans, and green beans. apparently the lady didn’t understand the difference between green beans and more baked beans because I received two pints of the baked beans. This is the first mistake in my order. I asked the cashier if they took Google pay or Samsung pay and she said she didn’t know and then said to try a couple different spots on the cash register which I did. There was no indication or transaction confirmation. The cashier subsequently said I don’t think we have it, so I gave her my credit card. One of the other workers in the back yelled out that they do take it and that I have to put it down near the base of the cash register not the top of the side as it was indicated by the cashier when I tried to get it to work. This is mistake number two. after using my credit card, the cashier put the ticket on her stack but then failed to ask me if I wanted a copy nor offered me a copy of the receipt. This was mistake number three…Yes, I can see they transaction on my phone as soon as I swiped, but still I should’ve been asked if I wanted to get a receipt. This was a three star category for me.
All that said, the food my family comsumed was very good, but not great. There seemed to be some discussion about the taste, type, and cut of the meat we selected. The selection came with a gallon of tea and a pint of barbeque sauce which the kids said was too runny and not thick enough to not run off the meat. This was a four out of five category.
The location was extremely clean with no flies buzzing around to pester us while we were eating. All eating areas, the bar, the restroom, and drink serving areas were pretty clean. This was four out of five stars.

We love this place. On Wednesdays they have frito pies for $5 each and they are a pretty decent size. their fried pies are also delicious. We’ve tried just about all of them. It’s in a good location too. Close to Grapevine Mills and Bass Pro.

Wow this place is so delicious!! I am a Texas girl who knows BBQ and this was great!! The potato salad was a little different but it was great (I think it had dill and red potatoes)! Coleslaw was good as well. The ribs fall off the bone and the brisket was lean and delicious!! The BBQ sauce was good as well. My husband and daughter loved the sweet tea and I loved the unsweetened tea (some people don’t know how to make tea). Last of all the fried pie was to die for! We were so full from all the delicious BBQ that we had to split one but it was so good we bought more to take home. The place was clean and the employees were nice. I totally recommend it!!!

Brisket and pulled pork were tender and smoky. Barbecue sauce was more on tart side rather than sweet, so not my favorite, but still good. The meat did not require much additional sauce. Fried okra was perfect. Best I’ve had. Tasted very fresh, definitely not frozen. Macaroni and fries and ranch were good. Local soda, very good sweet root beer, with serve your own refills. Chocolate shake tasted similar to In’nOut burger’s. Counter order restaurant so you don’t have to tip. Food came out quickly, good when you have small children. Bar area was separate from the casual family friendly dining area. My only complaint was half lit scary women’s bathroom that needed maintenance and cleaning.

My fiance and I love this place! I hate when he goes without me. Today I ordered the ribs(spectacular), fried okra and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious! He ordered the loaded fries with brisket which i never had before and I fell in love!!! As well as 2 meat pies. The best BBQ place I’ve ever been too so far.

The sliced brisket was perfect. The ribs were great! Potato salad is good if you like mayonnaise and dill. The baked beans had a natural smoky flavor. Also save room for a fried pie or 2. We liked the Peach pie better than the Apple, but both were tasty! The staff was excellent too! We’ll definitely be back!
